#charitytuesday Adopt a Cat

Here are three older kitties who are currently in the care of Wood Green the Animals Charity and who would love a forever home!

Beautiful Rosie came to Wood Green Heydon centre with her friend Rusty (below) when their owner passed away. Rosie is finding life at the centre a bit tough at the moment and would love a forever home where she can settle and gain trust with her new family.  Kizzy is a long haired black beauty. She came to Wood Green after her owner moved abroad and couldn't take her.  This quiet, gentle cat really likes a fuss once she gets to know you and enjoys being groomed to keep her coat nice and beautiful. She also gets along well with dogs as she lived with one in her previous home. Kizzy is also at the Heydon centre. A Silly Sunday Selfie and a Pretty One #SundaySelfies

We have a silly selfie for you today and a more serious one. 

 In the first one Mum was trying to get a selfie of both of us, but as we were trying to get into position, she accidentally snapped this one with parts of her hair all over my face. 

 It looks ridiculous but we all need a laugh sometimes so I thought we'd share it!

 Lizzie is a gorgeous 10 year old cat looking for a new owner as her previous one couldn''t care for her anymore. This friendly, loving and still very active lady would make a perfect companion for someone with lots of love to give and a nice garden. Lizzie is at the London centre.  6 year old Niko is a sweet boy looking for a new start in life. He has had a lot of changes in his life so is a bit shy, but he really loves a little tickle under the chin and a fuss. Handsome Niko is also at the London centre (who took great care of me while I was waiting to be adopted). Check out his profile here.

This handsome boy is Barry White. He's a bit nervous right now being without his  home comforts but he is a sweet and friendly 10 year old cat with a lot of love to give. He is at the Godmanchester centre. Check out his profile here to find out more about him.

Mum wants to thank you all for your kind comments on our recent posts. She's read each and every one and will slowly be getting back to visiting your blogs again. She is grateful to have so many understanding friends and your words of encouragement make her realise she can't give up blogging. It's the only thing that keeps her going, and my beautiful little face and purrs and kisses of course. 

As you know, she runs this blog and Purrs Full of Love and then there is all the social networking to keep up with that I think she's exhausted herself. 

I told her to take it easy, her health is more important.

I love my mum. She's great. 

And why is she so great? 

Well, I'm a great cat of course! 

And because she helps a lot of rescue animals and wants to continue that. 

Every thing else can wait. 

Live in the moment, Mum. Don't worry about the future. 😽💕🐾

 Milly is a loveable character who likes to have lots of fuss and likes to be around people. She has lived with other cats before and so she can get on well with them. She loves her Dreamies now and again! If you would like to meet her, check out her profile.

Alfie is a stunning young chap looking for his forever home. He is very friendly and enjoys attention. He loves to play interactive games with his humans with a fishing rod toy and will certainly entertain you for hours! He has an independent streak so he does like to be out and about exploring his domain and making sure all is as it should be in the world. Click on his profile to find out more about him.

Isn't Apple adorable? She has come into the centre through no fault of her own from a multi cat household and she is the only one left.  She is as sweet as pie and super snuggly, especially after you have tired her out playing with feathers. Find out more about this sweetie HERE

Sunday Selfie: Taking Care of Mum

Mum is still not feeling very well so I took my selfie whilst sitting on top of her and purring her to get better. Mum is such a worrier, so I'm purring some healing positive vibes into her troubled soul.


She says she finds everything overwhelming and being online all day, I'm not surprised. But she misses you all and hates not being able to visit as many of you as she would like. But she needs to rest.

I have been tooned by Michelle of ToonPetz for a donation to North Clwyd Animal Rescue in North Wales. 

 Michelle has set up a JustGiving page and 100% of your donation will go straight to NCAR. 

 She asks for the minimum of £5 per pet and your Toonz will be sent via email.
If you would like the original artwork it's £10 extra.

 You can contact Michelle HERE. You will need to email your pet's photo and details of their character. Once you receive your pet's toon you can then make a donation through Just Giving.

Sunday Selfie: Time to Wake Up!

So after yesterday's post, I'm pleased to say that Mum and me are are getting on better now. I brainwashed her into putting more food into my bowl like she used to before she got that crazy idea into her head that I need to diet.

 I don't like change and I made that clear. Only I decide how much I should eat and I always like to leave some food behind in my bowl. An empty bowl makes me feel uneasy. 

 Here is my selfie for today. I am telling Mum it's time to wake up.

HAPPY CATURDAY!

Mum wants to apologize for not visiting your blogs and commenting lately. She's been busy and stressed, not just because of the silly season just passed, but she also says I've been a naughty girl too for demanding food all the time, so I'm making her more anxious because she's worried about me. The truth is she's put me on a diet because the vet said I should lose some weight and Mum thinks I'm looking a bit more rounded lately (tummy and bottom.) She can talk! Less of the chocs, Mum!

 Stress makes Mum eat a lot. And it does me too. Have you noticed, Mum, that when you're stressed I am too?

 Anyway, I like this art of me. I am beautiful close up, I know. The photo has been watercoloured with the FotoSketcher app.
