Caturday Art - Trying Out a New Art App

Happy Caturday!

First of all, this was the first art Mum came up with for this week's Caturday Art.

I'm sitting on the sofa staring out into my catio.

Then Mum remembered an app she had first heard of over on Curious As A Cathy's blog. Actually, she had forgotten about it but I reminded her.

Brushstroke is a fantastic photo-editing app that can make any photo look like a work of art. It looks so realistic and is very easy to use!

However, it's not free, Mum paid  £3.99 because she wanted to try it out and there was no trial for free.

She's having fun with it and that's what counts. So far she can do a lot without having to pay for any of the in-app purchases.

Here are some of her experiments with photos in her iPhone albums.

Caturday Art Brushstroke

Happy Caturday!

Mum's been playing around with her fave art app Brushstroke again.    

It would be OK if it was just to create beautiful art from my beautiful photos like the one above,  but no, she had to go and do the same to one of the neighbour cats. Is she two-timing me?

Whilst on one of her local walks, Mum encountered this ginger cat again, the one that comes into our garden a lot. Of course, she had to take a photo of the orange feline and then create an arty-farty photo of him too. I bet he farted in this pic MOL!

I'm loving this blue art that Mum created this week.

120I like the way that even though it's blue it is a summery blue. It reminds me of clear blue and turquoise oceans and summer night skies. Mum used one of the Impressionist filters from the BeFunky paid version (not affiliated).

Happy 8th Blogoversary to Us

Happy Blogoversary to Us!

We cannot believe we have been blogging for 8 years! I was just a kitten when I told Mum I wanted to be a cat blogger. Mum was already a blogger and writer, blogging about her books and writing at the time but I said to her it would be better to start a cat blog and we could co-write it together. 

And how wonderful because we love this blog and all the pawmazing furriends we've made. Pet bloggers are the best!💚💜

To celebrate our blogoversary in today's Caturday Art we're taking a look back at some of our past Caturday Art photo art. We're posting two Caturday Artworks from each year.
