I had to remind her to create an Easter card for Caturday Art.

Mum isn't good at drawing or painting, but she is very creative and loves photography, so it's good to see her creating art of me!

Happy Caturday!

Mum created this watercolor-type art with Photoshop Elements  She is still on the 13 version and has no plans to upgrade to 19 just yet as money is very tight at the moment. 

You would think that with my beauty I'd be able to get some pawmazing modelling assignments, but no, it has not happened yet 😾

Catio Video & Best Friends Day #caturdayart

As promised, here is the completed video of my first day in my catio. It's taken 2 weeks for Mum to create and upload this onto YouTube and I'm happy with it. It's just clips of me shot over 2 days, but the catio was very new to me and an experience I'm still getting used to. It's been quite cold here too so haven't been out in it much.

Floral Magic #CaturdayArt

Happy Caturday!

I've titled this blog post Floral Magic because Mum created this week's art using the PicsArt app with the Magic filter called Floral. It was very colourful and bright though so Mum altered it a bit to her liking.

As you can see I was enjoying some sun puddles at the window.

I love it in the morning when Mum pulls up the bedroom blinds and sometimes the sun floods in and I get to sunbathe a bit before it gets too warm!

Wear Orange for Crockett

We were going to post this with our Caturday Art yesterday but we thought Crockett deserved a blog post of his own so we added this for our Sunday Selfie instead.

It's one of the artworks Mum created with the PicsArt app and she was going to use it for a future Caturday Art but she thought as it's all fiery it would be purrfect for Wear Orange for Crockett Day.

Yesterday, May 18, would have been Crockett's fifth Gotcha Day. Sadly, he has crossed the Rainbow Bridge far too young after a tragic accident and so we are honouring him by wearing orange as all of our friends and blogger pals are also doing.

The blog hop will be open for 2 weeks, so you too can honour this beautiful little soul who we are all missing so much :( 💚💜

1. Evening is my favourite time of the day. I am always more stressed during the day.

3. I could set a world record for being the biggest worrier there is and ever was!

4. Drinking alcohol all day and night when I was younger is the craziest thing I've ever done. That went on for 5 years, I'm ashamed to say. I stopped before it was too late.

4. Getting trapped in a cupboard drawer when I was a curious little kitten is the craziest thing I've ever done. I wasn't hurt but you can imagine Mum's panic when she heard me meowing and scratching. I got in around the back somehow and into the drawer. In fact, I don't remember but I was a kitten and that's what kittens do!

Before we show you our Caturday Art today we would like to take a moment to honour Remember Me Thursday® - which this year will fall on September  27th.

This picture is from last year's Remember Me Thursday post and I am a happy rescue cat! However, we know other cats and animals aren't so lucky. It is those we want to honour today and light a candle of awareness for them. Helping animals is my mum's passion and as a rescue cat, I want to advocate for homeless pets a well.

Caturday Art

For Caturday Art today Mum used the Blot effect in Painnt, which was a free effect on the day we used it so it might not be free today but there are lots of other free ones to choose from in this great app.

Mum says the yellow glow around me here looks like an aura. So we got talking about auras and what a yellow aura would mean. Mum says she read somewhere that a yellow aura means that I am intelligent, wise, playful, happy and creative and that I radiate spiritual energy. 

Which suits me fine, don't you think?!

Caturday Art: Superphoto Saturday

HAPPY CATURDAY!

Hope you are all keeping well. This weather is getting silly. One minute freezing cold and the next stormy, wet, mild and wild!

January is a boring month and it's always a struggle to get back into the swing of things after the Christmas holidays. For us kitties, it's just another month of the same old same old, but for humans, it really is hard to get back to normality. Especially since most of you have overindulged in the evil stuff that is definitely bad for you. For someone like my mum, that means lots of wine and chocolate.

So that's why she is doing Dry January. I will tell you more about it tomorrow.
