Watercolor Month #CaturdayArt

Happy Caturday!

July is Watercolor Month (Watercolour Month) if you are British like us.

The photo below doesn't look very watercoloury I know, but Mum said she wanted to keep it simple. She used the watercolor effect in Photoshop Elements and just adjusted it here and there.

New Artwork on Redbubble #caturdayart

This post contains affiliate links. Full disclosure here.

We've been on Redbubble for a while now but Mum hasn't had much time to add more artwork to my store, Wise Kitty.

But I pushed her to add some this week and to my great amazement, she did! Check out our new uploaded art here!  Hopefully, more will come in the next few days.

Though I love her taking long naps with me (her depression makes her want to sleep a lot, plus she needs to be more cat as being human isn't making her happy), I need her to keep this blog running and also to run my social media accounts. I can't do it myself, after all.

Here's one of our new uploads. Mum used the Palette Knife art filter in Photoshop Elements to create this effect.

Caturday Art: Watercolour Glow

HAPPY CATURDAY!

Today's photo art was created in Photoshop Elements 13.

First Mum used the watercolour effect and then added a soft glow effect over it.

I think it looks good!

Caturday Art: Photoshop Watercolour Effect & More

Happy Caturday!

caturday art

So Mum worked harder on her Caturday Art this week, devoting a little extra time to create this masterpiece in Photoshop Elements.

I reminded her to keep some notes on what effects and filters she used.

First, after cropping and resizing original photo, she added a watercolor effect. Then some vintage old paper effect, and finally an artistic sponge filter. She then added a frame.

Caturday Art

Happy Caturday!

Another pencil sketch for you this week, and again Mum used Photoshop Elements 13 and the Artistic sketch filter. Then she made some adjustments to her liking, such as increasing pencil width to 15, Stroke pressure to 13 and paper brightness to 34.

I really like how my eyes stand out in this.
