Sunday Selfie: Flashback Selfies

Happy Sunday!

Mum hasn't had time to help me take selfies today so I am sharing two previous selfies that have appeared on this blog before.

This is one of my best selfies and Mum wants to share it again because it actually looks like I took it myself without her help!

Sunday Selfies at the Window

In Mum's bedroom window we get the afternoon sun on sunny days. Lately, it's been very cloudy and wet but yeah, sometimes a glimpse of sun does manage to peep through the clouds. And when it does in the afternoon after my nap on Mum's bed I like to leap onto the window-sill and warm my furs in the sun puddles.

Mum will often find me hiding behind the curtain at that time and of course, she has to grab her iPhone and snap a few snaps.

These are her attempts to make it look as if I have taken selfies at the window.

OK, those that know me wouldn't call me bashful. My mum might be quite the shy type, but not me. I don't do shy. But my mum says it's what springs to mind at first glance of this selfie so we are going with that title for this week's Sunday Selfie post.

Sunday Selfie: The Cat Next Door

Before I show you my beautiful selfie check out this silly next door cat that got the wrong house again!

And if that wasn't bad enough, she has the nerve to leave her dirty paw prints all over our gas metre cupboard too!

I mean OK, she's new around here, but surely when you're a cat it' s not that hard to suss out where you live is it?

Actually, to tell you the truth, I think Mum's been a bit too friendly lately with this cat. It must have been when I wasn't looking and now this silly cat seems to think my mum is her mum too.

Go away silly - she's my mum! You've got your own mum next door 😾

Sunday Selfie: Time to Wake Up!

So after yesterday's post, I'm pleased to say that Mum and me are are getting on better now. I brainwashed her into putting more food into my bowl like she used to before she got that crazy idea into her head that I need to diet.

I don't like change and I made that clear. Only I decide how much I should eat and I always like to leave some food behind in my bowl. An empty bowl makes me feel uneasy. 

Here is my selfie for today. I am telling Mum it's time to wake up.

Sweet Sunday Selfie

After my scary vampyre cat photo yesterday we think you all deserve to see my sweet side again! Hope my selfie brightens up your day. 

Thank you for all the comments on our Blogoversary Commentathon. Comments are now closed. We raised £30 and will use it to purchase some treats and toys for the cats at Wood Green The Animals Charity from their Amazon wishlist. We are sure this gift will make some kitties happy until they find their forever home. I hope they're as happy as me when they do!

Sunday Selfie From Instagram

Happy Sunday! 

Thought I'd share one of my Instagram photos for today's Sunday Selfie. 

Mum is really in love with this photo. She took it the other night when we were getting ready for sleeping. I was gazing at her as she was trying to fall asleep. I stare at her like this, watching her as she tries to doze off, but I know she can feel me looking and she keeps opening her eyes to stare back. We slow-blink to each other (she always keeps a night light on, so she can see me). Her iPhone was by the bed and she hadn't turned it off so she quickly took this snap and posted it to Instagram.

Just got woken up by one of the neighbour's mowing the lawn again. It's 9am for paw's sake! 

Here's a selfie from yesterday. I was laying in bed with Mum after our nap and she drew back the curtains to let in the light otherwise it would have been a dark selfie (we never like to use the flash as it does nothing for cats other than scare them away). I look wide awake, I know, but believe me, after this was taken I went to nap again. It was too hot to do anything else!

HAPPY SUNDAY! 

Mum has been really busy of late, and so she is using this quite old selfie of me today. It was taken last summer with Mum's iPhone.  You see she hasn't had much time to take proper photos of me, and I have to admit that I'm rather missing our photo sessions. I just love posing for photos! After all, I don't do much as most of the time I'm just gazing into space or sleeping and she just snaps away (luckily she likes to work with natural light and rarely uses the flashy box).

So come on, Mum, get your camera out!

Happy Sunday!

If you celebrate Easter then I hope you're having a good one. Don't eat too many Easter eggs though - and cat friends, don't eat any! Remember, chocolate is very bad for felines. Also, make sure you keep away from lilies. Tell your owner/guardian/parent/human not to have any in the house.

I think I'm going to take it easy today and let Mum eat her chocolate egg while I just take a nap. Hope I get extra treats later!
