Hot Days and AI Guitar Playing Cat #CaturdayArt

We are fed-up with the hot weather here in the UK. Or maybe it's just Mum and me? It's so humid indoors and the heat rises so our bedroom is probably the hottest room in the house. 

One of the things that I do to keep me cooler is that I just stretch myself out to air my belly. 

Here's my art for today. The first effect is Digital Art Underpainting and the second photo is Polyart. All created with the help of BeFunky.

And this one was the prompt "tabby cat playing guitar". The poor cat's left paw looks a bit strange don't you think? Mum got quite freaked out by it but she loves the cat's face.

It's been a while but Mum has finally uploaded a new video on my YouTube!  It's just me and Mum having cuddles and kisses. I saw that she was looking sad at her computer so I jumped onto her lap and demanded some hugs and love. Of course, this makes her feel better too!

Snow Is Melting #SundaySelfie

As you can see I'm freezing my butt off here to take this selfie. OK, it isn't Mum's fault as I wanted to go out into the catio. I didn't stay long as I don't do cold so I soon darted back inside.

This selfie was take yesterday morning. It did look as if the snow had started to melt. 
 Update: As we are getting ready to post this, early Sunday evening in the UK, it has started to rain. So it is getting slightly warmer. It's turning all slushy out there but I don't need to be out in it so that's OK.  Hope none of you guys are out in horrible weather.

1. This time of year, Christmas TV ads puts me in a Grinch like mood.

2. My favorite kind of Christmas cookie is chocolate (vegan).

3. Trying to enjoy this silly season is my least favorite thing on my holiday to-do list.

4. Others might be surprised to know that I don't understand all the fuss over/for Christmas. It's just another day. Sorry guys, I am certainly not feeling at all Christmassy this year. Grief does that to you. I miss my brother. I didn't mean to depress you all.

3. Feeling cold is my least favorite thing on my holiday to-do list. I don't have a holiday to-do list and neither does Mum this year. She is grieving for her brother, as you know. And sinking lower into depression. I am purring for her and making her smile with my silly antics.

4. Others might be surprised to know that I don't really care for Christmas. I'm a cat. We're not religious. Mum and Granny are Christians but obviously no celebration this year. Mum's never liked Christmas (especially the commercialism of it). She tells me that she and her brother never had happy Christmas memories because all they remembered was the bad atmosphere between their parents.

Happy 11th Gotcha Day To Me!

21st July 2011 is the day I got adopted. Mum saw a pic of me on the Woodgreen website and came to see me the next day. It was love at first sight and the rest is history! How could she resist me anyway? I was such a cute little tabby kitty!

Cooling Off Sunday Selfie

We had a couple of very hot days but now it seems cooler so I can take it easy. We hate feeling too hot, especially Mum. Imagine if she had fur?

1. A product I would endorse is Faith In Nature Coconut Shampoo (vegan and cruelty-free). I love it, and though slightly expensive, it seems to last a long time and I don't even need a conditioner! Leaves my hair looking healthy and shiny, and it smells good too.

2. If I had a boat, I would name it The Feline. 

3. _________ was one of the first times I truly felt like a responsible adult. No answer because at the age of 55 I still feel like a kid.

4. I struggle with change most especially when it relates to everything. Having to live with constant anxiety I tend to fear the worst and sudden change really affects me.
