Crazy Tunnel #SundaySelfie

After midnight I get crazy and won't let Mum go to bed. This is me in my paper tunnel waiting to pounce on Mr. Caterpillar.

We are joining The Cat On My Head for Sunday Selfies and Four-Legged Furballs & 15andmeowing for Friendly Fill-Ins

Reacting to Cat Games on YouTube

I thought I'd join Mum in doing my own reaction videos on my YouTube channel.

Mum suggested this video cat game which features mice and birds. Do I look impressed?

So what's my verdict?

Nice video - something interesting to watch, but it doesn't beat the real thing outside my window 😻🐭🐁🐦📺

Here's my selfie. I'm on top of Mum's bookshelf and it's late in the evening. Naughty kitty time!

As always, we are joining The Cat on my Head for the Sunday Selfies Blog Hop.

No To Catnip & Friendly Fill-Ins #FelineFriday

This cat is saying NO to CATNIP!

Taking a sniff of catnip but really not that excited about it (or so Mum thinks hee-hee 😺)

Want to see how I reacted to the first time I met the catnip Mum grew for me?

Friendly Fill-Ins

We are taking part in the Friendly Fill-Ins hop, hosted by our lovely furriends at 15andmeowing and Four-Legged Furballs. Check out the linky for all other entries here.

1. Summer is a good time to ___________________.

2. The most recent _____________ that I _______________________ was ___________________.

3. I thought I would grow out of _________, but I haven’t.

4. I feel annoyed when people ask me _________.

MARIE

1. Summer is a good time to hide indoors! Yeah, I'm not a fan of summer. Well, not of heatwaves anyway! Can't believe how hot some parts of Europe are right now. If it comes to England I really don't know how I will cope. I'll probably just nap all day with Athena and the fan on at full blast :(

2. The most recent album that I bought was Outlander 4 Soundtrack (mp3 download from Amazon as I hardly buy CDs anymore - and yes, millennials, I am from the CD generation! Actually, make that the cassette tape generation!) I am old enough to remember vinyl records as well. Great memories of listening to my dad's Elvis records when I was a child.

3. I thought I would grow out of depression but I haven’t.

4. I feel annoyed when people ask me why I like to stay at home. To those that keep asking: No, it isn't boring if you are not a people person. I can find a million things to do to keep me occupied. If it wasn't for homebodies there would be no books to read, beautiful art to look at, inventions etc. We need people who enjoy spending time alone. We don't suffer from loneliness and we're not missing out on anything. Life isn't just about drinking and partying! Plus, being my beautiful Athena all the time is purrfect for me!

ATHENA

1. Summer is a good time to nap extra time!

2. The most recent naughty thing that I did was bite Mum.

3. I thought I would grow out of crying out for Mum when she's not with me but I haven’t. I meow for her even when she's in the bath.

4. I feel annoyed when people ask why Mum doesn't want kids. Why would she want any when she has me and is an awesome pawsome cat mother!

Wordless Wednesday: New Video! Meet Mr Catnip #whiskerswednesday

Something more interesting is happening out there

Mr Catnip

As promised on Sunday, here is the video of me having fun with my new catnip toy.  Mum filmed it last week when I first met Mr Catnip Mouse. A week later and I'm still enjoying him. Mum thinks I'll soon grow bored of him. We'll see...

Please subscribe to my youtube channel because at the moment I don't have many subscribers and I'm feeling sad and unloved. How can that be? I am a beautiful cat goddess - not only a wise kitty but also a fun and entertaining one who enjoys making people smile. I am also very loving and cuddly with nice shiny fur, and don't forget my healing purrs! All are demonstrated in our videos and we are busy making more. And the more we make the better they become! We will be uploading more videos in the coming months.

Sunday Selfie Fun

Happy Sunday!

We have a fun Sunday Selfie for you today. From time to time I like to leap onto my Mum's back when she's least suspecting. I haven't done it for a while, but yesterday I couldn't resist. I was hiding from her you see (I like to play hide n seek), and so she came into the room calling my name. I stayed hid for a while and when she bent over to look under the table, I took my chance and leapt from behind the sofa onto her back. I haven't done it for a while, but it made her laugh a lot, even though I'm quite a heavy cat now. I'm glad it made her laugh because she does get sad a lot.

Sorry for the blurry photos, but Mum had to quickly snap these on her iPhone before I leapt off again.

What do you do to make your human laugh?

Fun Friday

Fun Friday

This might not look that fun for humans, but we cats quite enjoy cleaning ourselves.

I started cleaning myself yesterday while my mum was snapping photos of me again. I soon grew quite bored with posing and started washing my paws.

As you can see it makes quite a nice picture!

Happy Weekend!

Fun Friday: A Yawn, a Big Paw, and a Cat and a Budgie #catandbudgie

During my sun puddle photo session with mum I stuck out my paw and yawned.

It makes a fun photo so here I am

and something extra for you all

A British TV ad featuring a cat and a budgie.

It will surprise you.

It's not what you'd expect.

We really hope you can all see this video as it's so funny (and it was nice to see my mum smile as she's been so stressed of late)

The Original Kitty Kick Stix Toy!

What is KITTY KICK STIX?

The ORIGINAL 15" Kitty Kick Stix Cat Toy is the longest and most popular Cat Nip Toy there is. Cats love it because it's super soft,  layered with 100% Organic Catnip and a soft combination of polyfill/fiberfill. It's also got bells. Imagine the hours of pleasure you can get with that - squeezing and rolling around with it, and not forgetting being able to do the exquisite 'bunny-kicking' we cats are famous for.

Four custom fabrics available

Yes, that's right. You can choose from four gorgeous custom fabrics. We really love this one.

PLUS, each order comes with 2 large stix and 1 free bonus mini-stix.

Handmade in the USA!

Which is a good thing too as your human can be rest assured that it is safe for you to play with and that there are no nasty surprises for you both.

Chemical Free!

Which is EXTREMELY IMPORTANT!
