No To Catnip & Friendly Fill-Ins #FelineFriday

This cat is saying NO to CATNIP!

cat sniffing catnip plant
Taking a sniff of catnip but really not that excited about it (or so Mum thinks hee-hee ๐Ÿ˜บ)

Want to see how I reacted to the first time I met the catnip Mum grew for me?

1. Summer is a good time to ___________________.
2. The most recent _____________ that I _______________________ was ___________________.
3. I thought I would grow out of _________, but I haven’t.
4. I feel annoyed when people ask me _________.

MARIE
1. Summer is a good time to hide indoors! Yeah, I'm not a fan of summer. Well, not of heatwaves anyway! Can't believe how hot some parts of Europe are right now. If it comes to England I really don't know how I will cope. I'll probably just nap all day with Athena and the fan on at full blast :(
2. The most recent album that I bought was Outlander 4 Soundtrack (mp3 download from Amazon as I hardly buy CDs anymore - and yes, millennials, I am from the CD generation! Actually, make that the cassette tape generation!) I am old enough to remember vinyl records as well. Great memories of listening to my dad's Elvis records when I was a child.
3. I thought I would grow out of depression but I haven’t.
4. I feel annoyed when people ask me why I like to stay at home. To those that keep asking: No, it isn't boring if you are not a people person. I can find a million things to do to keep me occupied. If it wasn't for homebodies there would be no books to read, beautiful art to look at, inventions etc. We need people who enjoy spending time alone. We don't suffer from loneliness and we're not missing out on anything. Life isn't just about drinking and partying! Plus, being my beautiful Athena all the time is purrfect for me!

ATHENA
1. Summer is a good time to nap extra time!
2. The most recent naughty thing that I did was bite Mum.
3. I thought I would grow out of crying out for Mum when she's not with me but I haven’t. I meow for her even when she's in the bath.
4. I feel annoyed when people ask why Mum doesn't want kids. Why would she want any when she has me and is an awesome pawsome cat mother!

Why do other people feel they can ask personal questions, like having children?!? SO RUDE! I am so happy to be a cat mom, like your mom, and life is good with fur instead of spit up, diapers, and college tuition.

You are too funny Athena. You are a lucky girl, most cats would love that nip and grass. Thank you both for these great fill-in answers. Your mum's answers could be mine- every single one of them- we are so alike. It was my mom that had the Elvis albums though :) Have a nice weekend! XO

I agree with your 2 and 3 Athena. Always Be Biting is my motto. Tell your mum that coffee is good to ease depression. At least 4 cups/day and it has so be caffeinated.
BTW, I won't touch cat grass and I love nip but not the green live type.

Fresh catnip doesn't impress me much either. I'm more for the dried stuff.

I meow when my momma's in da baff too.

Athena, Eddy agrees that she doesn't see what's so great about catnip. Fishy treats are way better. And you both did fantastically on the fill-ins! I can completely relate to your #4, Marie. I often get asked why I don't go out, vacation, and in general leave my house more often. The answer is simple. I like the company of myself and my kitties! Athena, we all also know what you mean with your #4. To all the family and friends who ask this here human why she doesn't want kids, it's because kitties! Purrs!
