No more Mr Mousie! I have grown bored of Mr Catnip Mousie. Really, I have lost interest in him and Mum here is trying to get me interested again. As you can see she is dangling him from his tail (poor thing). But I don't care anymore. He is major boring.
It's true that I once was crazy about Mr Catnip Mousie. At least crazy about playing with him as you can see from these videos on my YouTube channel.
Today I thought I'd share 3 selfies. This one is not focused I know but I like it! Looks mysterious and I like my whiskers. As it's black and white I'm also entering it in Sugar and Nola's Black and White Sunday Blog Hop.
I like the expression on my face in this next one. And just look at my right ear. I think I twisted it because I heard a noise outside.
And the final selfie isn't of me but I wanted you to meet my new catnip mousie toy. I am currently having lots of fun with him. I was surprised when Mum came home from shopping with him the other day as she hasn't got me a toy in a long time and I was bored with all the others. Mum filmed me playing with my mousie friend, however she has't finished editing the video so she can't show it yet. Hopefully we will post it on Wordless Wednesday. I will of course be bored with Catnip Mousie by then.
I'm still getting used to my catio. Yesterday was my 3rd time in it and Mum took photos and helped me take some selfies. She also shot some footage to edit into a video she's making.

Can you see Mr Catnip Mousie in the background? That's the old and battered Mr Catnip. I cut off his tail. I have a new Mr Catnip Mousie that Mum got me last year before we moved house. He is indoors, somewhere. I'm bored with him, to be honest.

1. I would love to be a personal assistant to no one. In the past, I would have said my latest celebrity crush, but now I'm older and wiser I don't think I would like to be anyone's personal assistant - apart from Athena's!

As promised on Sunday,here is the video of me having fun with my new catnip toy. Mum filmed it last week when I first met Mr Catnip Mouse. A week later and I'm still enjoying him. Mum thinks I'll soon grow bored of him. We'll see... Please subscribe to my youtube channel because at the moment I don't have many subscribers and I'm feeling sad and unloved. How can that be? I am a beautiful cat goddess - not only a wise kitty but also a fun and entertaining one who enjoys making people smile. 4. It seems like I’m the only one who likes to be up until 3am in our household. Mum says she used to stay up all night and sleep all day when she was younger. Now she just wants to sleep most of the time.

We've just heard that September is Happy Cat Month so here is my very happy and contented selfie. When I expose my belly like this Mum knows it's an invitation for her to start giving me some tummy rubbing. And let me tell you I just love it! I even let her kiss my tummy 😼
Of course, not every cat will enjoy exposing their tummy in this way. Especially at the beginning of a relationship. It's based on trust. For me, it was easy as I knew my mum was meant to be my mum from the very first day she walked into the cat shelter where I was waiting for my forever home. I trusted her completely from the very start. And on the first day when she adopted me and brought me home, I fell asleep contented on her lap (after I filled my hungry belly with yummy food!).
Mum was a bit nervous trying to give me the belly rub at first because she knows some cats don't like it. But soon enough, she realised I wanted the rubs and the kisses too!

Before I go, do you remember Mr Catnip Mousie? Well, I hadn't been playing with him for a while but Mum recently found him and started throwing him across the room one night when I was having my mad half hour before bedtime. I realised that I'd really missed the old man and so I grabbed him by my teeth and flung and bashed him around the room for a while and then I paw-batted him for a bit. Look at him now.
Mum created this photo art today using a mix of PicMonkey and BeFunky. She's been really stressed lately and says this is the only thing she could come up with for Caturday Art this week as when she's stressed she can't get motivated enough into doing anything she normally enjoys doing. So, I purred alot on her lap and kept close by for extra kisses and cuddles. The love shared between human and animal is the best cure for any sadness, or at least it makes it more manageable. I'm sure I don't need to tell any of you that. If only people that aren't animal lovers or pet guardians knew that too. Mum has had enough of trying to make them understand. There's a lot of unenlightened ones like that in her life, and she knows they judge her for being 'different' - basically for not being a sheep and following the herd. Actually, she is like a cat - independent and free-spirited and no-one can tell her what to do. Anyway, frankly, she wishes she could keep her distance from people like that.
As you can imagine, Christmas is a stressful time for sensitive souls like my mum. The only thing she likes about it is that it's winter and we can be cosy together and hopefully it'll snow a bit. Highly unlikely these days, but maybe it will. You never know with this crazy weather.
Also sharing this video again to inject some fun into this post. If you haven't seen it before it's of me playing with Mr Catnip Mousie (remember him?) Mum created a special cartoon filtered version of it for a past Caturday Art post. I thought it would be fun to post it again.
