Suzy

A long time before she adopted me, Mum had another cat. Her name was Suzy and she lived with Mum until she went over the Rainbow Bridge at 13 human years.

She went to live with Mum when she was a tiny kitten and Mum was a very young woman, a teenager actually. Well, today is the anniversary of when dear Suzy passed away and Mum is sad. She is remembering her over on her Purrs Full Of Love Blog so please visit. In the meantime, here are some pics of Suzy. She was a very pretty cat (and Mum says she wasn't as wild as me!).

This made Mum laugh. I closed my eye during the shot and it looks like I'm winking at her. There was no flashing box this time so I don't know what happened. I suppose I just wanted to tell her that I love her.

Easy Like Sunday - Father's Day

Happy Father's Day to all fathers out there - both animal and human!

Unfortunately, I don't know who my daddy was and I'm not really looking for a human daddy (because he might take my mum's love away). Talking of Mum, she seems sad today because she is thinking about her own daddy. I never met him (not in this world anyway) because he died a few months before I was born. He's my granddad and sometimes I think it would be nice if he was here because he loved animals too (especially horses). Mum says she thinks he would have laughed at my antics because no matter how hard  life got for him, he still liked to joke and laugh. Even when he was ill.

So Happy Father's Day, Granddad. Mum knows you sent me here as a gift to her after you passed away.

Caturday Art: Bestowing Blessings

No words needed here. But as a goddess I can do that. And I can purr with content and the vibration will make you so happy!

And some of the royalties will be donated to help other animals. Mun will always be grateful to the animal shelter that made it possible for us to find each other. Now she wants to give something back. She's always been like that. Loves to support animal charities and be an advocate for animals.

Happy Hug Your Cat Day!

Not that Mum and I need a special 'hug your cat day' because we are always hugging. But it's a great idea to have a day dedicated to hugs, isn't it? But why only in the US? Why not internationally? 

I love hugs. Lots and lots of hugs! The whole world should hug a cat. Have you forgotten how the Egyptians worshipped us?

Easy Like Sunday

Getting ready for my easy. This is my bed and as you can see it rests on top of my mum's bed.  I sleep here most afternoons when she's working at her computer. She doesn't have a proper office so has her desk in the bedroom. I like her to stay here all day with me. I hate it when she goes downstairs and leaves me. 

Oh there she goes again. Downstairs to make another cup of tea!
