Animals Do Feel Pain!

Wednesday Wisdom
Naptime: Escaping from the insanity for a while

Time to take a nap and forget about silly people.

Silly people?

Yes, I'm talking about those Tory MPs that have decided animals don't have emotions and cannot feel any pain.

Total ignoramuses!

What is it with this animal-hating government? More like they're the ones that don't have any emotions! 😼😠

I can't tell you how angry mum is right now. She is fired up and busy with her online campaigning and not paying much attention to me. But that's OK. I'm fine napping for a while. I am so proud of her and others like her who devote their time to helping animals.

Us evolved beings must all stick together and wipe out this backward outdated thinking. It really is unbelievable that here we are in the 21st Century and some people still seem to to be living in the dark ages.

Mum says the government has ruined this country enough, for people and animals, and though we never talk politics here, this is an issue Mum cannot ignore. Hell, she never even voted for Tory!

Now I'm getting worried about poor Larry who lives at Number 10. Hope he is OK and treated with the respect he deserves by all that lot!

So, come on, let's not let these useless unfeeling bunch of fools get away with it.

YOUR BELOVED ANIMALS DEPEND ON YOU!

So BE THEIR VOICE and sign and share the following petitions anywhere you can.

Urgent Appeal: Cassidy is Looking for a Forever Home #adoptdontshop #cats

Someone we know who volunteers at one of our local animal shelters contacted us about this lovely boy who urgently needs a home because his owners are moving. They say they can't take him with them due to their daughter having an allergy.

We are helping to find him a new family and forever home as soon as possible. Just look at his sweet, handsome face :)
Forever Home Wanted for Cassidy
Cassidy is urgently seeking a forever home!

"Hello my name is Cassidy, I am four years old and very friendly. At the moment I live in Edmonton, North London, but my humans' daughter has become allergic to me and I need a new home. I need to live somewhere where I have access to the outside, so nowhere on a busy road and with a secure rear garden. I am in very good health with all jabs up to date and have about six more weeks to live here before my humans move to their new home. Please is there somebody out there who would like to take me on? I promise you I am a good boy and don't scratch the furniture or carpets!"

If you are interested in giving Cassidy a forever home please contact Janice at Kings 020 8350 0100 or email Janice.Downes@kings_group.net

If you can't offer Cassidy a forever home please help by sharing this post!

More Wisdom Wednesday Than Wordless

More wisdom Wednesday than wordless

Hi everyone,

Please read on because Mum has a question for you pet parents.

You see, she often gets angry when people tell her she only loves me because she has no kids. How stupid is that?

What we wanna know is, how many of our friends in the blogosphere are parents to both fur children and human children? We are sure you love your fur babies just the same, right? And how many of you are only parents or guardians to fur children?

Mum is also not married, so she gets the crazy cat lady thing thrown at her too. I mean come on, I don't see hundreds of cats around here. She only has me. And that's the way I like it!

The truth is Mum never wanted human babies and she is at that certain age now when she is never likely to be a mum to a tiny human. But she's fine about it. She only ever feels maternal towards pets, especially cats. And you know what? I'm glad because she is the best cat mother any rescue cat could hope for. That's why I chose her!

Remember, Animals are Family!

And sometimes the love between human and animal is simply the best. it's unconditional love all the way.
