Based in Cyprus Cyprus Pride House rehomes hundreds of cats and dogs all over Europe.
My grandparents are Greek and came to England from Cyprus so Mum and I feel a close connection to Greek and Cypriot rescue cats. For one thing, we know cats and dogs are often treated as vermin over there and there are thousands of unneutered cats, most of them strays, left to keep reproducing. This makes Mum very angry to know that this still goes on in this day and age. Of course, animals suffer all over the world, but we can't help them all as much as we would like to :(
As we can't afford to donate to every charity that needs our urgent help, we are doing our best to help by sharing, as we always do on this blog and on social media.

I know it's not Caturday Art today (obviously not because it's Wednesday) but here is an artifyed photo of me. Here's the story: This photo was looking like a photo fail but Mum saved it with some cartoon filter. It highlights my whiskers, giving them an extra curl in HD. I like it! Purrfect for Whiskers Wednesday, which is also worldless so that's enough talk from me today :) 😺
For #HumanAnimalRelationshipAwarenessWeek we thought we'd do a quick Flashback Friday post featuring selfies of me with my mum. For those who are visiting for the first time, this rescue cat met her human mum back in 2011 at Wood Green, The Animal Charity and we knew we were meant for each other. It WAS love at first sight 💕
I jumped into Mum's arms and that was that. From the very first day that I arrived in my forever home I leaped out of my carrier and filled my small belly with the kitten food Mum provided for me. I looked around my new surroundings but to me they didn't feel new or scary at all. I let Mum pick me up and cuddle me from the very start and as soon as she sat down I jumped onto her lap and started purring. Even though I was socialised by my carers at Wood Green before I was put up for adoption at 10 weeks old it wasn't the only reason I felt at ease with my new family and home. I'd known Mum before in a past life. For those who don't believe, well, that's up to you. But there is a deep soul-connection with me and my Mum! And as Mum would put it: Meow Love is the Best Love 💓

1. I have been hoping for earnings to come my way from my books and designs for years and years and I'm fed up and tired that it comes easy to others and not for me. I'm not a young woman anymore and I feel that time is running out. I am writing this in my morning mood and it's always negative but sometimes negative is being realistic. Sometimes thinking positive just doesn't work. 2. Have you ever felt you don't belong here? I do. I've always felt different and that I don't belong in this world. 3. I always love this time of year but it also makes me feel sad that another year has gone by so quickly. Quicker and quicker as I get older it seems.
4. The world could use more compassion, peace, and understanding.

1. I have been waiting for that treat for ages. Hey, Mum, get off the computer! 2. Have you ever wished your human would just stop staring at screens all day? 3. I always feel cold at this time of year and want to snuggle up with Mum all day.
4. The world could use more feline leaders! Larry for Prime Minister! I could be a leader too of course, but I don't do politics. I'm more happy being a meowdel and Internet star and being a voice for homeless pets all over the world.
