Early Morning Sunday Selfie

This was taken two days ago while it was dawning outside. It was very hot.

Today it seems cooler but we've still not had any rain, which is very unusual for England. Some parts of the UK have had rain but we live in the East of England which is officially experiencing drought.

Out of boredom Mum went to Grok with this older photo of ours from 2015. Her prompt was to create a photo of us both living in a castle surrounded by forest. For some reason Mum is wearing a curtain on her shoulder. Or it looks like she is. Perhaps it's meant to be a robe.

If you also notice, my body fur markings are not mine. My markings are classic tabby but these are mackerel. 
 

Mum then added more details "add lot of cats playing happily outside." I asked her why I wasn't enough and she added "I want to live in a kingdom of just cats and no humans. But of course we shall rule together, sweetie".

So, welcome to our kingdom of cats.

So we had a few days of cooler weather but now the heatwave is back full-on. Annoying for sensitive humans like my mum but also annoying for us kitties. It's too hot too move. But at least I can enjoy an easy Sunday just lounging around and sleeping.

Heatwave Go Away Sunday Selfie

This summer has been too hot. All I can do is sleep through it. I gave the same advice to Mum because the heat irritates her. She says she has too much to do so she can't sleep all day. 

"If only I was a cat too," she added. 

 I know she'll join me for a nap later. I mean, who could resist this face?

Mum keeps moaning that she can't stand all this heat, which we've had for weeks. We are just not used to it in England. We've hardly had any rain either.

Just trying to chill on the sofa on this hot, humid Sunday. We don't like this type of weather. Even with a window open you get no air as there is no breeze. The trees are just standing still.

The heatwave went away a few days ago but today it's set to get hot again. Not as hot as 40c like last week but still hot. Anything over 26c is too hot for me and Mum!

1. I think a lot of things are a waste of money. The older I get the more minimilist I become. I hate clutter.

2. Lately, I spend a lot of time thinking about "the good old days." They weren't that great really personally, but I was young and full of hope and dreams. And music was better then! 

3. Flying a plane is the craziest thing on my bucket list. I love the idea of piloting a plane because I actually enjoy flying. It makes me feel free for some reason - I feel trapped down here on the ground. But of course, I care about the environment too and never fly anywhere these days.

4. Happy Cat Mother's Day is a holiday that I’d like to create or see more celebrated.

1. I think going on holiday/vacation is a waste of money. At least going abroad. In the UK there are lovely places to visit. It's better for the planet too because planes pollute. And I'm sure Mum can take me with her and not have to board me in some hellhole. The problem though is money. Mum can't afford much these days. 

2. Lately, I spend a lot of time trying to sleep on my lounger scratcher because it's cooler than the bed or carpet!

3. Becoming a singing cat is the craziest thing on my bucket list. I want to sing duets with Mum. 

4. Happy Tabby Day is a holiday that I’d like to create or see more celebrated. Tabbies should be celebrated every day!

1. A fun way to celebrate Christmas in July is dreaming about snow. I so need it right now. Had enough of this heatwave. Tomorrow, the forecast for some parts of the UK is 40°C. This is the first time ever such a high disgusting temperature has been forecast here. And it's likely to hit my area of West Essex.

2. My favorite summer activity is I don't have one. I can't stand summer. OK, maybe a nice walk in the woods would be nice.

3. When I sleep, my dreams are as messed up as my real life. Lots of anxiety dreams.I'd love a nice dream for once. I have had them in the past, but my dreams just reflect my current life.

4. Insects, spiders, bugs, etc scare(s) me more than anything. Actually I'm scared of a lot of stuff. Strangely, unlike most people, flying does not scare me.

Too Hot Sunday Selfie and Teeth Chattering at Birdies

Heating up in England. Mum and I despise this weather. I can sleep it off but Mum hates it when the heat slows her down and she can't get on with her day. Even with a fan it's hot.

The other day I chattered my teeth when I saw some birdies. I posted it on my YouTube channel and also on Instagram.
