Cooler Nights Caturday Art

The duvet is back on the bed, that means we're having cooler weather now. Time to get snuggly next to Mum.

We had quite a lot of rain lately too. Mum likes it but complains that the weather is still warm. Must be her age!

We used BeFunky for the artsy photos. The first effect is one of our favourites, Crayon GFX.

My 15th Gotcha Day Caturday Art

Would you believe it - Mum forgot my Gotcha Day! Yes, the most important day for us both and she forgot, only remembered on Thursday.

My Gotcha Day is on 21st of July 2011, when Mum adopted from the amazing WoodGreen Pets Charity.

But I won't hold it against my poor Mum for forgetting as she is currently so overwhelmed with caring for Granny. However, we are only a few days late so we've created this beautiful Caturday Art for our Gotcha Day celebration.

This is our favourite artsy version, created with the BeFunky effect Impressionist Soft GFX+

The next art effect is Modern Gouache GFX+

And this is Oil Painting GFX

And the original.

Heatwave Caturday Art

Lazy summer days...

My Catit bed tower thingie used to be in the living room by the window where I can access the catio. But recently Mum had to move it upstairs to our bedroom so that Granny's bed can fit downstairs now. One of the sofas had to be moved too, but it's so heavy we just managed to secure a place for it in another corner of the living room.

We wrote about the changes here. Granny has moved downstairs now as she has limited mobility and dementia.

Anyway, I love my Catit tower lounger thingie. It's purrfect for napping on...

This effect is Oilpainting GFX.

The next effect is Impasto GFX.

And the next is Modern Gouache GFX+.

And here is the Original.

Caring Caturday Art

I've been busy looking after Mum because she is sad that Granny had been in hospital for two weeks after having a fall. Granny, who has dementia, was discharged from hospital two days ago so Mum has to be her carer as well. Actually, she has been her carer for a while now.

Extra carers come each day and Granny sleeps downstairs now, so I stay upstairs in the bedroom. I can go down if I want but I don't like it when there are strangers down there.

Don't worry, though. Mum still takes care of me and of course I take care of her.

Here's our Caturday Art.

First up, here's the Oilpainting Effect GFX

Next is Impasto GFX

And this is Modern Gouache GFX+

And here is the original.
