It's taken us a long time but we are proud to announce that we are now Zazzle ProDesigners, so we thought we'd better celebrate!

And what better way to celebrate than with our new St Patrick's Day design! 

Yes, we know St Patrick's is not until March 17th :)

Mum had originally wanted to create a card with this design, but now she's also added it to a few other products at our CatGoddessDesigns store.

So what is Zazzle?

We're sure most of you have heard of Zazzle already. It's a very popular online marketplace that lets you publish your designs onto products for free. You can then sell them or just create your own gifts for the people you love. There are hundreds of products to add your art and designs on, but we think it's best to choose a few and not have your design on everything.

Another good thing about it is that as a seller you can set your own royalty rates and you can also earn some money by becoming an associate. 

And Zazzle is not just for designers, photographers and artists. Anyone can have a go, and it's easy once you know how. If you follow the free guidelines and tutorials you'll be an expert in no time. 

Can you make a lot of money?

There are some lucky people making quite a bit of money, some even earning a full-time income. And then there's sellers like us, who only earn a small amount every now and then, so no chance of giving up the day job yet! I suppose it's like that for most, though.

For Mum, it's been a slow process. It can take a while to earn that first $100 that qualifies you as a ProDesigner at Basic level but she's happy to have reached this status so far.

She says she enjoys designing cat-themed products and that's the main thing. It's also enabled her to create lovely personalised gifts for family and friends, so it's not all about making money. 

But it helps. Especially if you're looking to earn money online, which is what Mum wants so she can be a stay at home cat mum 😻

Wordless Wednesday: Happy St Patrick's Day!

Happy St Patrick's Day for tomorrow! 

We are not Irish but Mum has always been drawn to Ireland and loves Celtic music, mythology and jewellery. You may have noticed from photos and videos we've shared that she always wears a celtic ring on her finger. She believes she was Irish in a past life, or at least a celt. I don't know if I'm Irish, maybe I am. I mean green is my colour, right?

In celebration of St Patrick's Day, here is Mum's favourite Irishman Noel Fitzpatrick. I like him too but hope I never meet him for obvious reasons. Well, not at his surgery anyway. He does seem to be a genuinely nice guy and really cares about us furries, though, so purrs to him xx







And why don't we have some music too? Mum picked this celtic influenced song from her favourite band Nightwish , who are from Finland and not Irish but are really amazing and I like the orchestral versions of their CDs which we listen to during afternoon naps. But here is this nice track called My Walden and let me tell you that I've watched Mum get totally lost at the end of this song and she looked so funny (humans are so weird really, I mean why do they feel the need to do this thing they call dancing?)

Melt Your Heart Monday

As it's St Patrick's Day tomorrow we thought we'd join in with all the fun, so we went looking for videos of cute kittens doing something St Patricky. Well, we found this cutie below.

Mum isn't keen on dressing up cats (thank the gods!) so she sure hopes that the hat wasn't too heavy for this little kitty.

Happy St Patrick's Day (or is it St Catrick's?)

Well, I figured I'd better go green for St Patrick's Day, I mean St Catrick's Day.

I mean, green is after all my colour. Not only the colour theme of my blog (in case you haven't noticed), but also my book cover and yes, my eyes! 

And why not celebrate this great day?

As far as I know, my mum doesn't have any Irish blood, but she has a Celtic soul and that's good enough. She loves Celtic music and jewellery, and Ireland and Irish dancing.

Oh, and she likes a drink.
