It's my 9th Gotcha Day on the 21st of July so we're celebrating today because we don't normally post on Tuesdays.
We cannot believe it's been nine years already!
Yes, it's been nine years since Mum adopted me from the amazing rescue charity Wood Green. You can read my rescue story here. All royalties from the book will be donated to Wood Green and two other charities we support.

This is a cool photo that Mum showed me yesterday. It was taken back at our old house in 2011 when I was a kitten. There are so many reflections in the bay window of the room I was in and Mum was at the other bedroom window looking out at me.
Our old house in London was a 1930s house with the big bay windows that were popular all over England at the time.
Here's a video of me as a kitten. Sorry for the terrible quality but this was filmed on Mum's old Blackberry (remember them?) in 2011. This is the view from Mum's bedroom window at the old London house. It's our then garden and the neighbours' garden to the left of the fence. We have a million times better view now from our bedroom in Essex.

1. When this pandemic is over, I know my germ phobia will be worse than ever. My anxiety has really heightened since the pandemic and I'm now even more anxious about being around people. I definitely will continue to refuse handshakes. Never liked them anyway as most people do not wash their hands. I will continue to touch paws though.
2. I have zero interest in tanning. I just don't get why people like to cook their skin. I like being pale, plus I am allergic to the sun.
3. I always look forward to Caturday Art. I love seeing what all my fellow pet bloggers come up with and it's lovely to see so many lovely animal photos and people enjoy getting creative.
4. Noise is the bane of my existence. I hate people being loud.

1. When this pandemic is over, I will worry about Mum as I know she is nervous about germs.
2. I have zero interest in eating fish. I just don't like it. The only food I like to eat is chicken.
3. I always look forward to my next treat.

Back in 2011, when I was a tiny kitten, Mum made up this lullaby for me. Some of you may have seen the video before but I told Mum to share it again.

I don't understand why. I mean I'm such a pretty kitty goddess who is also very wise, charming and hugely entertaining. Do I have to beg for followers? Cats do NOT beg! Especially ones named after an Ancient Greek goddess. (Sorry for the bad sound quality on this video. Blame it on Mum's old smartphone again!)
Throwback Thursday to this video of me as a cute kitten watching Mum drying her hair with the hairdryer. I wasn't scared, I just found it intriguing :)

We haven't had a Throwback Thursday post for ages so here is one packed full of cuteness. Yes, this is adorable me as a kitten in 2011 washing myself. I look so happy in my new home, don't I? After the traumatic time I had when I was abandoned in someone's garden and then taken to Wood Green, the Animals Charity, I was so grateful to find a forever home with my dear mum Marie and her own mum, my granny. I found my mum squeeing at her computer. She was looking at this. How adorable! Hope it helps melt your heart today and also helps to beat those Monday blues (which I know every human suffers from.) Mum says she would rather be a cat and escape from the reality of life. I bet many of you cat loving humans wish that too. Now, go and SQUEE at this!

We have three videos for you today to celebrate the Christmas Holidays. Mum wanted a video of cats singing and she found this one, which is rather cute. I told her that as she loves to sing, maybe she could record a video of me and her singing together, but she said she hasn't the time to record one (and on second thoughts, maybe it's not a good idea for me to sing as I'm not sure I can).
The next video is a new one, and if you are familiar with The Supervet, then we are sure you'll recognize this Santa Claus. I''m afraid there are no cats in this vid. Though the doggies are indeed lovely, we wondered why too.
