As you can see I am resting on the sofa, leaning against the cushion. I am going to take a nap. 

The photo below is a photo fail because my eyes are out of focus. Mum is such a purrfectionist!

I think this photo looks OK and there are so many others she could have chosen for the fail 😻

1. In the 90s, between the ages of 27 to 32  is the drunkest I have ever been. It was my wildest time. I suppose I got tired of being an introvert but now I celebrate it.

2. I really hate going to the shops. Since Covid, I do all my shopping online now. 

3. While most people enjoy roasting in the sun, I would hate it. 

4. I’m glad that the Internet was invented. It's great for introverts like me but like almost everything in life it has a dark side.

Athena

1. Getting rescued by Mum is the happiest I have ever been. I think I chose the right human mum. 

2. I really hate going to the vet. Mum hates going to the human vet. She forgot to mention it above.

3. While most people seem to prefer dogs, I am here to prove that cats make the best pets.

4. I’m glad that the Internet was invented. Mum found me on the Internet - on the Wood Green, The Animals Charity website.

Waiting For Nap Time #SundaySelfie

I'm waiting to have a nap with Mum. But that wind is back and is quite scary and neither of us can relax. Annoying. I am trying to send it away with my thoughts.

It's been given a name - Storm Franklin. More like Frankenstein! He created a monster, didn't he? Yeah, it's one of my Mum's favourite novels, and Mary Shelley's Frankenstein is one of her fave movies.

Crazy Fun Sunday Selfie

I like to tease Mum when we are playing at 1am in morning. Yes, I wait for her to go to bed and then I start misbehaving so she has to get up again to play. Well, I'm just not tired enough to go to sleep at that time as I spend most of the day sleeping!

So grumpy Mum came downstairs and went into the kitchen first. When she came into the living room she found me like this. Rolled up in some parcel paper. She laughed. She said I looked so funny.

I love making myself look silly like this just to hear her laugh. And I have fun too 😻

3. I didn’t plan to _________, but I’m glad I did.

 1. A week without stress would be nice.

2. A week without chocolate would be impossible. 

3. I didn’t plan to go into higher education when I left school as I hated being in that environment so I  left at 16,  but I’m glad I obtained a Literature and Humanities degree later in life.

4. I once fell for the wrong guy and lived to regret it. Actually, that's the story of my life - bad relationships. 

ATHENA

 1. A week without noise would be nice. Humans sure make a lot, don't they?

2. A week without chicken to eat would be impossible.

3. I didn’t plan to stay downstairs to sleep last night, but I’m glad I did. Sometimes I need some alone time, even though I love sleeping in bed with Mum upstairs.

4. I once had to be taken to a cat hotel when Mum had to go abroad and I lived to regret it. I was about two years old and Mum went to Sweden to visit her brother so I had to be boarded here in England. We both missed each other so much (it was about a week but it was torture). I wouldn't eat and I was scared Mum wouldn't come back for me. When she came back I wouldn't leave her side (or lap) for days. Mum regretted it too and never wants to leave me alone again.

1. I feel anxious when I'm out. 

2. I wish I could erase all the bad thoughts from my memory to free up some space.

3. Others probably find it annoying that I am vegan and an animal rights advocate. Sometimes I am told why not human rights? Well, idiot human, what are YOU doing about human rights? And besides, all creatures should be equal. Animals and humans equal, OK?!!

4. A time machine really needs to be invented.

1. I feel happy when Mum focuses her attention on me all the time.

2. I wish I could erase my early start in life as an abandoned kitty from my memory to free up some space.
