Heatwave Go Away Sunday Selfie
This summer has been too hot. All I can do is sleep through it. I gave the same advice to Mum because the heat irritates her. She says she has too much to do so she can't sleep all day.

Cute Furbaby Caturday Art
This heatwave is annoying but at least I look cute lying here on the bed for my Caturday Art.
Mum keeps moaning that she can't stand all this heat, which we've had for weeks. We are just not used to it in England. We've hardly had any rain either.

Please, No More Heatwaves #SundaySelfie
The heatwave went away a few days ago but today it's set to get hot again. Not as hot as 40c like last week but still hot. Anything over 26c is too hot for me and Mum!

1. I think a lot of things are a waste of money. The older I get the more minimilist I become. I hate clutter.
2. Lately, I spend a lot of time thinking about "the good old days." They weren't that great really personally, but I was young and full of hope and dreams. And music was better then!
3. Flying a plane is the craziest thing on my bucket list. I love the idea of piloting a plane because I actually enjoy flying. It makes me feel free for some reason - I feel trapped down here on the ground. But of course, I care about the environment too and never fly anywhere these days.
4. Happy Cat Mother's Day is a holiday that I’d like to create or see more celebrated.

1. I think going on holiday/vacation is a waste of money. At least going abroad. In the UK there are lovely places to visit. It's better for the planet too because planes pollute. And I'm sure Mum can take me with her and not have to board me in some hellhole. The problem though is money. Mum can't afford much these days.
2. Lately, I spend a lot of time trying to sleep on my lounger scratcher because it's cooler than the bed or carpet!
3. Becoming a singing cat is the craziest thing on my bucket list. I want to sing duets with Mum.
4. Happy Tabby Day is a holiday that I’d like to create or see more celebrated. Tabbies should be celebrated every day!

Not Amused Sunday Selfie

1. A fun way to celebrate Christmas in July is dreaming about snow. I so need it right now. Had enough of this heatwave. Tomorrow, the forecast for some parts of the UK is 40°C. This is the first time ever such a high disgusting temperature has been forecast here. And it's likely to hit my area of West Essex.
2. My favorite summer activity is I don't have one. I can't stand summer. OK, maybe a nice walk in the woods would be nice.
3. When I sleep, my dreams are as messed up as my real life. Lots of anxiety dreams.I'd love a nice dream for once. I have had them in the past, but my dreams just reflect my current life.
4. Insects, spiders, bugs, etc scare(s) me more than anything. Actually I'm scared of a lot of stuff. Strangely, unlike most people, flying does not scare me.

Too Hot Sunday Selfie and Teeth Chattering at Birdies
Heating up in England. Mum and I despise this weather. I can sleep it off but Mum hates it when the heat slows her down and she can't get on with her day. Even with a fan it's hot.
The other day I chattered my teeth when I saw some birdies. I posted it on my YouTube channel and also on Instagram.

1. I have been contemplating how much more I could do to help animals. There is so much that needs to be done and all animals matter. Not just our pets.

Blogger Probs and Sunday Selfie
If the heatwave isn't enough to make Mum do this - the fact that Blogger and Bloglovin have both been annoying lately has really pissed her off.
First of all, she hasn't been able to link our blog linky to the Caturday Art Blog Hop yesterday (and we're away many of you have had probs too) and for the last few weeks, Bloglovin has been really getting on our nerves.
It keeps showing the images from our blog posts as pixelated. We don't like pixelated images! It looks so amateur and Mum is far from amateur as she's been blogging and taking photos and editing them for years now. Put it this way, we never had these problems before, even from when we first started this blog.
Mum has tried resizing the images and a lot more besides but still the images are horribly pixelated on Bloglovin! As you can imagine, Mum is totally frustrated now. So much so that she's seriously thinking of deleting our blog from Bloglovin.
It doesn't seem to be happening to other blogs she follows on Bloglovin. Maybe it's our blog theme? We use the Simple theme. Anyone had these problems before?
Mum is thinking of changing our theme but is in no mood for all the hassle that comes with it. Not in this heatwave!
Here is my selfie for today, which looks purrfectly fine on this blog and when Mum edited it. If you follow us on Bloglovin, I bet you will see it as a pixelated mess!

Flashback Friday: A Scorcher of a Week
We've had a scorcher of a week in London, but today it is feeling much fresher and I'm glad! It means I can move around more and enjoy some more food. The heat makes me unable to eat, and just like Mum, all I want to do is lay around in bed all day, too exhausted to do a thing.
On Wednesday, which was the Summer Solstice, it was the hottest June day since 1976. Mum tells me that that year was the very famous long hot summer and she's old enough to remember it even though she was just a kid. She hopes we don't get another summer like that.

Sunday Selfie: The Heatwave Continues
Happy Sunday!
It's so hot I can barely move!
All I do is laze around in front of the electric fan. 😾
Mum helped me take this photo yesterday when I was on her bed gazing out at the sky through her window. She loves my eyes.
Summer in the city is horrid. It's so sticky and humid and the air is polluted.
It's taking a long time to sell our house because the market has really slowed down in London. Mum is getting stressed because it looks like she'll never get her dream home in the country.

Sweet Little Kitty Goddess Who Helps Her Mum Chill Out #ThrowbackThursday
It's still really hot in London and I just want to sleep all the time. I think Mum is the same, but she has a lot to do so can't nap as long as I can. She has to write posts for this blog as well as look after me. Plus, she needs to moan a lot about the heat and how much it should be autumn now and cooler. Yes, she is a moany human. Do your humans moan and complain a lot? It seems humans are really weak in this respect. I think humans are never happy unless they have something to moan about.
Wise cats know that complaining just isn't worth it. Best to focus on the moment, eat, drink, play a little hunting game, and then nap. Just nap the heat away and it'll pass.
Mum was up early doing her artsy thing for Caturday Art. She wakes up early (or rather I wake her) so she can work before it gets too hot and noisy. She'll drink a lot of coffee to stay awake and to help with the creative process. Then at around 1pm I'll make her take a nap with me for at least an hour or two.
Hope you're all having a nice day wherever you are, and that your humans aren't busy complaining about their rotten lot. Here's a cute photo of me to make them smile from 5 years ago. What a cute tabby kitten I was!

Sunday Selfie
HAPPY SUNDAY!
Just got woken up by one of the neighbour's mowing the lawn again. It's 9am for paw's sake!
Here's a selfie from yesterday. I was laying in bed with Mum after our nap and she drew back the curtains to let in the light otherwise it would have been a dark selfie (we never like to use the flash as it does nothing for cats other than scare them away). I look wide awake, I know, but believe me, after this was taken I went to nap again. It was too hot to do anything else!

Tried to take a selfie for The Cat On My Head's Sunday Selfies blog hop and it went wrong first try.
So I tried again but my ear got twitchy as it was picking up some outdoor noise and so I got distracted (summer is far too noisy!)
