We had some warm sunshine this week so I got to sunbathe in the catio. There was a nice fresh breeze and birdies in the blue sky, perched on terracota coloured rooftops. 

Couldn't catch them of course!

3. I think being born is really spooky. I mean we are thrown into this scary world and it must be traumatic (especially for souls that probably didn't want to reincarnate.)

4. I wish I had a magical potion for hatred to be replaced by love in this world.

1. My go-to place to purchase my food is Zooplus. Well, I know that's where Mum orders my tasty food from and we are affiliates too.

2. Love and attention from Mum immediately improves my mood.

3. I think the kitchen is really spooky. I don't go in there much as there are scary noises like the washing machine, boiler and refrigerator. It's a bigger room than the one in our old house so it is quite scary to me. The other kitchen at the old house was tiny and I could go in there. As a kitten, I had fun watching the washing machine spin. See below.

4. I wish I had a magical potion for all kitties to have a loving forever home like me.

Some Wise Words for Whiskers Wednesday

Happy Wednesday!

We live in worrying times so I am hoping my post finds you all well.

Please be like a cat and keep washing to stop the spread of this horrible virus. Look after yourselves, your animal family and the human family.

Do what you need to do and listen to your own instinctive voice. LIKE A CAT 😻

If you don't need to be somewhere, and you feel maybe you shouldn't go, my advice is to listen to that gut instinct.

This will help stop the spread.

Still frosty and cold here so here's a flashback to last summer when I was out in my catio.

2. I think the most romantic movie is Gone With The Wind or Wuthering Heights.
3. 2014 was the last time I wrote and self-published a book. It was The Snowflake Pendant if anyone is interested.
4. Feeling anxious happens too often. I'm a born worrier, so that doesn't help.

ATHENA
1. I wish I could tell my teenage self to get used to exercising. Mum keeps on at me to be more active as she says I'm getting too lazy. When I was a kitten I always wanted to run and play.
2. I think the most romantic movie is - I don't know. What Mum said, or how about A Streetcat Named Bob?
3. Last week was the last time I stepped out into my catio. It's been too cold!
4. Mum telling me I need to lose weight happens too often.

When we first found Elsa she seemed very scared and it was obvious that she had been abandoned recently. Every day she would walk next to different volunteers, waiting for the one person who would bring her home and give her the love she wanted so desperately. At night she didn’t know where to hide, so she would try to find shelter in front of an abandoned house. Now she has found temporary safety in a foster home. Elsa is very tender and social. She enjoys human companionship and likes to cuddle for hours. Please adopt her, she will love you forever. ——— Όταν βρήκαμε την Έλσα για πρώτη φορά φάνηκε πολύ φοβισμένη και ήταν προφανές ότι είχε εγκαταλειφθεί πρόσφατα. Wise Kitty Photo Tips for Sunday Selfies

Happy Sunday!

Before you can read our Friendly Fill-Ins today here are a couple of photos for my Sunday Selfies participation this week.

Mum took these photos of me the other night while she was trying to watch TV and I was misbehaving. I hate it when she sits there staring at that box with moving pictures in the corner of the room. Do you detest it too when your human does that?

I don't think I was misbehaving - I only wanted some attention!

But it looks like I finally got some when she picked up her iPhone and took these pics. She said the lighting looked good - quite arty and mystical. What she doesn't know is that I picked this spot because I knew it would make a great photo 😸

Honestly, Mum, don't you realise yet that it's from me you get all those great ideas from? 😻

1. I believe I was here before. I think I'm an old soul.
2. I need to go Marie Kondo on my desk. It's a mess.
3. It does no good to use alcohol as escapism and to try to forget your worries. You still have to face your problems the next day, and you will have bigger ones if you get ill. 
4. I find writing to be a walk in the park. Talking, on the other hand, can be torture for me.  I am such an introvert! I think that's one of the reasons I get on so well with cats. I'm good at telepathy :)

Athena's answers:

1. I believe cats were put here to be admired and worshipped and I love it that Mum does that with me. I can see that she finds me extremely beautiful as she always stares at me and gives me blink eye and makes kissing noises with her lips. And of course, she worships me. There is nothing I cannot make her do for me :)
2. I need to go Marie Kondo on my (I don't understand this question. The only Marie I know is my mum).
3. It does no good to fret. Just take a nap!
4. I find getting my mum to see to my needs to be a walk in the park.
