Some Wise Words for Whiskers Wednesday

Happy Wednesday!

We live in worrying times so I am hoping my post finds you all well.

Please be like a cat and keep washing to stop the spread of this horrible virus. Look after yourselves, your animal family and the human family.

Do what you need to do and listen to your own instinctive voice. LIKE A CAT 😻

If you don't need to be somewhere, and you feel maybe you shouldn't go, my advice is to listen to that gut instinct.

This will help stop the spread.

Here I am enjoying some Bird TV. I enjoy doing this when it's nice and quiet but summer time brings with it noise, and lots of it. I'm not talking barking dogs but more of the human variety of noise pollution. 

A note to our neighbours:
Why do you wake me from my nap with your constant use of the evil roaring droning lawn machine? Do you have to do it every day? Grass isn't meant to be mowed down every day. In fact, why not let it grow wild as nature intended?

A flat lawn doesn't look very appealing to me. It should be given a chance to grow a bit, to live and breathe a bit. But then that's what humans do, isn't it. Destroy nature.

I know not all humans are like this. 

But anyway, that's my little words of wisdom for today. I'm off for another nap now.

Clockwork Calico: The Golden Owl #BookReview

Living with a writer Mum, I have grown to be rather bookish myself, as you can see from this photo today.

Mum read this fantastic book to me and I thought I'd give it a mention on my Wordless Wednesday post (also Whiskers Wednesday and Wednesday Wisdom). This the purrfect day to post about books I feel, especially cat books. Well, they're the only type of books we want to feature or review on this blog since our readers are mostly cat lovers! (We don't mind other pet books, though).

But anyway, here is the book Mum read to me and she thought it was great (and so did I). 

CLOCKWORK CALICO: THE GOLDEN OWL

Mum thought Clockwork Calico by Lana Axe was 'a fun and intriguing read' (you can read her full review on Amazon HERE  - under Marie S) and we both highly recommend it. Cat lovers will love it!
