Help the Animals at Christmas #charitytuesday

We are so pleased to hear about this.

Channel 5 in the UK is hosting a charity event for the animals. About time too!

Help the Animals at Christmas is a three-hour entertainment extravaganza that will be broadcast live on Channel 5 at 8pm on Friday, 21st December.
This is Channel 5’s and the UK’s first ever TV event that will help raise awareness and much-needed funds for animals who need treatment or help.
Help the Animals at Christmas will support and highlight the work of five amazing British animal charities, so please show your support this Christmas.

RSPCA

Scottish SPCA

Blue Cross

The Donkey Sanctuary

Wildlife Aid Foundation

So, if you're in the UK make sure you watch Help the Animals at Christmas and do your bit if you can :) All details about taking part, raising funds, etc can be found at the link above.

Adopt Mary and Joseph!

Check out Mary. She's at Wood Green, The Animals Charity, at the Heydon branch.

Lovely Mary was taken into Wood Green with Joseph and they are now looking for their forever home. Not much is known about these two precious souls, but so far "Mary is proving to be a very friendly and affectionate girl." If you'd like to find out more, please contact the Heydon centre.

Disclosure: I received no compensation for this post. As a rescue kitty myself I want to help other rescues find their forever home, so each week on Charity Tuesday I share adoptable cats from Wood Green, the Animals Charity (which is where I was rescued) and some other charities dear to our hearts. Mum and I are so grateful to Wood Green because without them we would never have found each other! Please note however that this post does contain some affiliate links. This means if you click on the Amazon links to purchase any of the items featured, I will receive a small affiliate commission. We are not affiliated with any charity mentioned in this post.

what a wonderful thing. It is nice when animal charities get promoted by non animal related businesses and events.
