Happy Caturday!
Hoping you are all well.
Here's some springtime art to cheer you all up a bit.
And for a more artsy effect here is the Impressionist version.
And for those of you who enjoy puzzles here's this for you 😻
It's also Greek Easter weekend so Happy Easter to those who celebrate.
It's not a big thing for us here as we're not that religious. When Mum was younger her mum (my granny) used to boil eggs and dye them red. This is a Greek Orthodox tradition and the red dye symbolizes the blood of Christ and the shell represents the sealed tomb. When the eggshell is cracked open it represents the resurrection.
Mum no longer eats eggs because she's vegan but she's never liked them anyway. Chocolate Easter eggs are much better, she says (I can't eat them because I'm a cat). She only eats non-dairy (vegan) chocolate now.
Stay home. Stay safe. Save lives.
And create!
Caturday Art is a chance for all pets and their humans to get creative with their photos. Of course, if you are an artist you are free to share your animal art as well. We'd love to see it! But the focus of Caturday Art Blog Hop is to get artsy with your pet photos by adding filters (there are many free photo editors and apps available, as we're sure you all know.)
Mum isn't good at drawing or painting, but she is very creative and loves photography, so it's good to see her creating art of me!
Have fun, and remember to look after yourself and others!
