If you're wondering what T-Shirt Mum is wearing, it's a Soundgarden one. Mum is a big fan of the 90s Seattle grunge rock band, fronted by the late Chris Cornell. She is so glad that they finally got inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.
So well-deserved.
I must say, as a cat, I don't really listen to this genre of music, though I do love Chris Cornell's voice, especially on his solo stuff. I can understand why Mum listens to him almost every day (in headphones mainly) because she says it helps with her depression. Like Mum, Chris was a sensitive soul who had his own battles with mental health. His deep, introspective lyrics have helped many. His beautiful voice a soothing comfort. He was super-talented and the band are great musicians and songwriters too.
Mum was trying to take my selfie - or rather she was helping me take it but I decided I needed to give myself a little wash first. I wanna look my best, of course!

It's also Pet Parent Day. This photo of me and Mum doesn't have the pinhole effect. After Mum converted it to black and white she added an Instant Polaroid frame.
