Melt Your Heart Monday

Yes, Monday is here again unfortunately, but here's a video we found that we think will really warm your heart and make you smile :)

 Enjoy!

Mum would look to say a big thank you to those of you who downloaded her cat memoir THE CAT YEARS: HOW MY CAT SOULMATES SAVED ME yesterday. Don't worry if you haven't yet as it will remain free until Thursday so there's still time! But please don't forget as we believe the more downloads it has, the more it'll help raise awareness for my own book A FOREVER HOME FOR ATHENA, which in turn will help rescue animals as we are donating the proceeds from that book to our fave animal shelters.

Have a great Monday!

Wordless Wednesday

A bit of a lazy one today because Mum's been so busy of late and hasn't had time to take photos of me, so here's a cute pic of me from our Instagram.

Also, take a look at the new cover for my mum's memoir. Yes, that's me :)

Have a great Wordless Wednesday, everyone!

Read more about this book HERE

And if you like a bit of 1980s nostalgia why not download this FREE sample/promo edition of the first three chapters of my mum's first ever novel AGE OF DREAMS.

Not many cats in it, but lots of 80s music and culture references, and of course, being my mum's book, loads of drama! If you like it then you can download the full novel for only 99 cents!

Heartwarming Cat Stories (Books that make my Mum cry)

My Mummy has just finished reading this book called A Street Cat Named Bob and she loved it so much.  I watched her as she was reading and I saw her smile one minute and almost crying the next. She also kept looking at me, really deep into my eyes so that our souls spoke to each other. She told me she loved me very much, and that just like Bob helped his owner (or human parent) find hope and a life worth living, I had done the same to her.

I told her back with my eyes that she had given me hope and a life worth living too. You see I was an abandoned kitten and lost my real Mummy so I was scared and alone (apart from having my little sister Lily with me, who I hope has now found a loving home like me). When my human Mummy came to rescue me at the cat shelter I knew she was the one for me and I made sure she knew it too. Just like Bob knew his Daddy James was his straight away. They were made for each other, just like me and my Mummy.

Bob is one cool cat. He used to go busking in London with his Daddy.

Me and my Mummy rescued each other. That's the truth of it.

Here's my Mum's review:
As a cat lover I've read many books of this genre. Some were great, others OK, but I have to say that I absolutely loved this book. I was captivated from the beginning and could not put it down. It made me cry one minute and smile the next. It's such a heartwarming, inspiring story about the deep relationship between a street musician/Big Issue seller and an intelligent and very sweet ginger tom cat. I read it in 2 days and was kind of disappointed when it ended. I'd love to see this true story made into a movie.
