Sunday Selfie: #WetnoseDay

Happy Sunday!

This was taken this morning when I was in bed with Mum. I love morning snuggles with my mum!

Today we want to reblog this Sunday Selfie post from exactly a year ago. Really can't believe it's been that long, but anyway, as you can see Mum is wearing a funny wetnose and looking quite daft (silly).

Continue reading this post from last year to find out why!

Today's selfie is of the two of us, and as you can see, Mum is wearing her Wetnose Day nose for National Wetnose Day.

Sorry if I look a bit grumpy here, but Mum woke me up to pose for this selfie.

What is National Wetnose Day?

This is an annual event, organised by Wetnose Animal Aid, a non-profit organisation set up in 2000 to support the smaller animal rescue centres in the UK. On Friday 25th September 2015 30th September 2016 everyone is invited to join in the fun to help raise funds and awareness for this very important cause.

Pose With a Nose

A fun way to show your support is to buy a nose (available from the Wetnose website) and to take a photo of yourself posing with your nose (don't forget to include your pet in the picture too!). You can then raise awareness by sharing your pic on social media.

To find out more about Wetnose Day, and to purchase a nose, click HERE

Unfortunately, as this is a UK based charity, noses can't be delivered overseas, but you can still help this fab cause by promoting it on social media.

This is such a fun way to raise funds and awareness for smaller animal charities. And as a rescue cat myself I really want to help all the other rescue animals out there.

Why not purchase your wetnose today and pose with your pet all over the Internet. Don't forget to spread the word!

Wordless Wednesday: Don't forget Wetnose Day

Our Wordless Wednesday this week is actually quite a wordy post in support of Wetnose Day, which is on 25th September.

You may remember our post last month about Wetnose, but if you haven't seen it you can HERE

So, to show our support once again for the cause, here is a collage Mum made of us together, with mum posing with her wetnose. If I don't look too impressed it's because I was disturbed from my nap just to pose for these. Mum says I was already awake, but that doesn't mean I didn't want to nap some more.

Anyway, as it's for a good cause I agreed to participate. Of course I know Mum looks silly with that nose, but she doesn't care if she's helping animals and that's what it's all about!
