July is Watercolour Month #caturdayart

Happy Caturday! 

OK, I know July is almost over but we only just heard that it is Watercolour Month so check out this photoart Mum created.

Mum first went to Photoshop Elements to tune up the photo a bit and tried the watercolour effect on that but she wasn't pleased with it and decided to try an easier option. So she went to LunaPic and used the Watercolor 2 Art filter, which turned out great but needed fading out a bit as it looked a bit over done. The frame is from Fotor.*

We've gone with the theme of less is more today and so our Caturday Art is simple yet elegant. As you can see, I am chilling out, front paw dangling, on my cat bed enjoying the warm weather. At times it has been a bit too hot and Mum has opened the window slightly to let in some lovely fresh breezes. She keeps an eye on me though, so I don't sneak out the window to explore my new surroundings.

She says she will order the catio next week (here's hoping) 😺

Art was created using Fotor. Mum used the Retro Inkwell effect and a neat little border for this timeless-looking vibe.

As Easter is earlier this year we're posting our Easter art this weekend instead of the next.

As you can see from my photo below, I am dreaming of a baby chick. As Mum doesn't eat meat or dairy she really isn't too happy to see this and is really feeling sorry for the little chick. Luckily for me, she understands that I'm a carnivore and can't help it. 😻

Mum helped me make this card for my granny's birthday, which is tomorrow. She used the free version of Fotor

She decided on a vintage feel so chose a sepia filter and then added some lovely stickers (there are loads to choose from). She didn't want to go overboard though so she simply added a few flowers and a neat little frame.

I think it's rather sweet and I'm sure Granny will love it.

Caturday Art: Vintage Movie Star?

The above photo was edited using the wonderful Fotor which we love and we do use it quite a lot in our editing. It is one of the best photo editors out there and easy to use too.

Ignore Mum's camera bag in the background, but this photo is cute and look at me turning back to look at Mum while we were in bed the other night. Both of us couldn't sleep and I could feel that Mum was restless and her mind was racing with thoughts again, so I turned back and gave her this cute look, staring deep into her eyes. Of course, I wanted her attention and she gave it, giving me a nice stroke while I purred with delight. And this made her happy and calm in return and we both fell asleep contented and wrapped in an aura of pure love 💖

It's a Spring Bank Holiday Weekend here in England and we know our friends from the United States are celebrating Memorial Day weekend too so we hope you all enjoy the long weekend and you get some nice weather. It's a very hot weekend for us in London so we've an excuse to be lazy!
