Feline Friday and Friendly Fill-Ins About Ashtrays, Kindle and More.

 Happy Feline Friday!

Feline Friday

Friendly Fill-Ins hosted by 15andmeowing and Four-Legged Furballs

1. You will never find _______________ in my home.

2. Once a year, I __________________.
3. _________ has gotten me in trouble.
4. The last time I _________ was when _________.

MARIE

1. You will never find ashtrays in my home. We are a non-smoking household.

2. Once a year, I should visit the dentist but I don't because I've become more phobic of dentists and of going out. Even more so now with this Covid cloud hanging over us.

3. My mental health has gotten me in trouble. What I mean is that my constant struggle with anxiety and depression led to alcohol addiction. I'm sober now but I still get cravings when I'm feeling really low.

4. The last time I dreamed big was when I first published my novels on Kindle. That was almost 10 years ago now and my books won't sell so I will never be a successful author but that's fine by me. I have many other interests to be getting on with. I just wanted to earn a living, just like everyone else, and with some leftover to help animals.

ATHENA

1. You will never find another cat in my home.

2. Once a year, I get tricked by Mum into going to the vet for some horrible booster vaccinations.

3.My curiosity as a kitten has gotten me in trouble. I once got trapped in some drawers in the living room. Mum got me out though!

4. The last time I saw a real bird was when was looking out the living room patio door two mornings ago. It was a fat pigeon on my lawn.

That is a lovely close up of you, Athena. No ashtrays here either.

I quit alcohol many years ago, as a test to see if I could. Then, I had to avoid all of my drinking friends, because it just made me want to drink. After about two years, I was able to hang out again with drinkers; I didn't want to anymore. During these trying times, when I feel overwrought, I pick up a kitty or a book, to snap my brain into another place. Maybe I'll drink again when I'm ancient, and get all of my cohorts at the old-folks home drunk too!

You are a beautiful girl kitty, Athena. I like it that you're a one cat household. I know other kitties that don't want siblings. It's all good.

No smoking in our home either. You can smoke, but do it outside.

Thank you for joining the Feline Friday Blog Hop.

Have a purrfect Feline Friday and weekend. My best to your mom. ♥

Thank you for participating in the fill-ins, great answers from both of you. Please don't give up on writing. you are an excellent writer, but it is hard to promote anything without a big budget unfortunately. I am afraid to go to the dentist now too. I think many are- we got a card in the mail offering a free electric toothbrush to go. And Athena, I am glad your mum rescued you when you got yourself locked in. XO

Awwdorable picture of you, sweet Athena and thanks for the insights on the fill-ins. We agree with Ellen on the writing. Always do what you like to do, without expectations, just enjoy it! Wishes come true eventually, maybe not in the form of expectations😸More Pawkisses for now🐾😽💞

Hello, adorable Athena! And thank you both for joining in on the Friendly Fill-Ins! I'm also past due for a visit to the dentist. I quite dislike going. I really should get that scheduled soon. Athena, around here, it's Eddy who has gotten stuck in and under drawers. Her mom also helped her out. Purrs!
