Hoping you are all well.
Here's some springtime art to cheer you all up a bit.
And for a more artsy effect here is the Impressionist version.
And for those of you who enjoy puzzles here's this for you 😻
It's also Greek Easter weekend so Happy Easter to those who celebrate.
It's not a big thing for us here as we're not that religious. When Mum was younger her mum (my granny) used to boil eggs and dye them red. This is a Greek Orthodox tradition and the red dye symbolizes the blood of Christ and the shell represents the sealed tomb. When the eggshell is cracked open it represents the resurrection.
Mum no longer eats eggs because she's vegan but she's never liked them anyway. Chocolate Easter eggs are much better, she says (I can't eat them because I'm a cat). She only eats non-dairy (vegan) chocolate now.
Stay home. Stay safe. Save lives.
Caturday Art is a chance for all pets and their humans to get creative with their photos. Of course, if you are an artist you are free to share your animal art as well. We'd love to see it! But the focus of Caturday Art Blog Hop is to get artsy with your pet photos by adding filters (there are many free photo editors and apps available, as we're sure you all know.)
Mum isn't good at drawing or painting, but she is very creative and loves photography, so it's good to see her creating art of me!
Have fun, and remember to look after yourself and others!

Love the Impressionist one! TW went out with a Greek guy for years but never knew about the red egg thing but she always knew when their Easter was. She thought they would be together for life. Things change.
Happy Caturday! Nice art today.
The art is lovely. I really like the impressionist effect.
A lovely picture and artwork, plus great jigsaw. 3:54 Mrs H managed this morning after two cups of cocoa, MOL

The Florida Furkids
Oh wow, both pieces of art look amazing!
We love this artwork, Athena. It really did cheer us up, so thank you and Mum! XO
Gorgeous picture and art Athena, and thanks for the puzzle! Happy Sunday! XOX
We are furry impressed by your Impressionist Art, Athena. And Happy Easter to you. Here in Jerusalem, the Greek (and Russian) Orthodox Easter is preceded by the Holy Fire ceremony at the Church of the Holy Sepulchre - from where the flame is carried all over the Orthodox Christian world. Mummy saw all that on the news.
But loved your Saturday art, would love to know what software you used for that wonderful blurry effect. Hope you're having a great weekend! (Could hardly find the comments section today!)
