Little Kitten in Autumn Garden Flashback

Mum was looking through some old photos of me and saw the one below from 2011.

She used to take me out for a walk around our back garden. That didn't last long because one day I managed to escape the harness as
 I wanted to chase after this intruder cat. This was back at our old house in London. Infuriated by that stupid tom, I took out all my frustrations on Mum as she tried to pick me up and unfortunately, I scratched her arms. This really shocked Mum and made her cry. 

Luckily, even with her bleeding arms, she managed to grab me before I'd jumped over the fence. Once we were indoors I'm pleased to report that Mum was OK - her cuts weren't that deep so she didn't need medical attention - but the tears were streaming down her face due to the shock of how close she was to losing me. Because I'm an indoor cat, she thought I might not want to come home once I got the taste for outdoors. Did she not realize that I needed her just as much as she needed me?

I think Mum and I got closer than ever after that incident, but what makes me really mad is that the inane cat really thought he'd won because he continued to harass me from that day onwards. He would pass by the patio door to annoy me while I was behind it enjoying Birdie TV. He would stick his ugly face in front of me. Idiot!

I'm glad we finally left the nasty bully when we moved to Essex last year. But it took a while and so I had to endure many years of harassment from the idiot :(

The quality of this photo is not so great but the autumn colours look pawmazing.

1. October is the perfect month to enjoy my favourite season - autumn!

2. The most recent purchase I made online was Andrew Ridgley's memoir Wham! George & Me. 

3. If I turned invisible for a day, I would go for a long walk through the local woods on my own. 

4.  My short-temper has gotten me in trouble in the past. Not real trouble - I'm not a violent person and I'm certainly not violent towards others when I lose it - but I've said things I shouldn't have said to people I care about. 

ATHENA

1. October is the perfect month for extra snuggles with Mum in bed. I need to warm my furs after all!

2. The most recent purchase I made online was nothing! Mum does it all for me.

3. If I turned invisible for a day I would really freak Mum out as she wouldn't be able to find me. As a cat, I have been known to disappear around the house often, thus causing Mum to race around the house calling my name, panic in her voice, only for me to suddenly appear behind her.

4. Nothing has gotten me in trouble in the past. Not that I know of!

I am really not that happy to be sharing my post with the intruder from next door again. But Mum was happy with the arty effect she used on the photo - Chromatic from BeFunky - that I let her, just to see her smile :) 

She used the same effect on the second photo of me and on the first she used the cross process effect.

Caturday Art: Vintage Colours

HAPPY CATURDAY!

I'm not happy with sharing my post with this Ginger intruder cat but Mum insisted. She's been quite sad lately so I gave in just to see her smile.

I don't know what she was doing photographing another of the intruder cats but this is what she does when I'm upstairs napping on our bed. She cheats on me with the other cats 😼

For this week's Caturday Art Mum went straight to BeFunky and went for a Vintage effect using the Vintage Colours Effects for the first photo. For the second photo (mine) she tried to get the same vibe with the Vintage Colours Effects but she thought it didn't look so good so she used Cross Process instead and tried to play around with it a bit.

Before I show you my beautiful selfie check out this silly next door cat that got the wrong house again!

And if that wasn't bad enough, she has the nerve to leave her dirty paw prints all over our gas metre cupboard too!

I mean OK, she's new around here, but surely when you're a cat it' s not that hard to suss out where you live is it?

Actually, to tell you the truth, I think Mum's been a bit too friendly lately with this cat. It must have been when I wasn't looking and now this silly cat seems to think my mum is her mum too.

Go away silly - she's my mum! You've got your own mum next door 😾

GET OUT!

I was looking out of the patio door at night before going to bed and I saw this INTRUDER on the fence. Mum took the photo and told me to forget about him, he will go. But I don't like him. He pooped on our lawn the other day.

But I did forget about him and followed Mum upstairs to bed. At least I have a nice warm bed and a lovely human to cuddle up to at night. I bet he doesn't have that. He is out roaming the streets and gardens at night and is at risk from all the dangers lurking out there. It is not safe to be a cat any more in London. In fact, I doubt that it's safe anywhere.

Before we go, we have some exciting news! If you live in the UK you will be able to see us in the June issue Your Cat Magazine (out in the UK on May 15th). We are so happy because it's our favourite magazine and Mum is a subscriber so we got our copy early.
