It's still boiling hot and we still haven't had any rain. I sleep through most of it but Mum is uncomfortable and stressed out about it. 

However, she has created some great art of me again - with the help of BeFunky and the following artsy effects:

Crazy Eyes Caturday Art

The heatwave won't end so it's made me a little crazy. Look at me as I stare up with intensity at Mum who is also going crazy with having to endure this evil heat. It's around 4am, the bedroom is fiercely hot and Mum is trying to get back to sleep after I woke her for some food. We have the electric fan on all night but the room still feels like an oven.

Heatwave Caturday Art

Lazy summer days... 

My Catit bed tower thingie used to be in the living room by the window where I can access the catio. But recently Mum had to move it upstairs to our bedroom so that Granny's bed can fit downstairs now. One of the sofas had to be moved too, but it's so heavy we just managed to secure a place for it in another corner of the living room.

We wrote about the changes here. Granny has moved downstairs now as she has limited mobility and dementia.  

Anyway, I love my Catit tower lounger thingie. It's purrfect for napping on...

Caring Caturday Art

I've been busy looking after Mum because she is sad that Granny had been in hospital for two weeks after having a fall. Granny, who has dementia, was discharged from hospital two days ago so Mum has to be her carer as well. Actually, she has been her carer for a while now. 

Extra carers come each day and Granny sleeps downstairs now, so I stay upstairs in the bedroom. I can go down if I want but I don't like it when there are strangers down there. 

Don't worry, though. Mum still takes care of me and of course I take care of her.
