Some Poly Art for Caturday Art

I quite like the autumnal colours in this week's Caturday Art photo. Mum used the Poly Art artsy filter in BeFunky.

My mum and granny are still grieving for Uncle John. It's been a month now and the funeral still hasn't been allowed to take place.

Uncle John lived in Sweden so he had to be repratiated back to England. It took almost 3 weeks after he passed away to get him here. He is now awaiting yet another post mortem due to the fact that no cause of death has been stated yet from Sweden. I don't know all the ins and outs as I am a cat, but I heard Mum talking with Granny and with people on the phone.

So, there you have it. It could take another 3 weeks for the burial to take place. For Mum and Gran, the torture is unbearable as they long to lay him to rest.

Thank you for your continuing support xx

Thank for hosting Caturday Art Hop while under this stress.
Am sure that Athena is keeping you company with her purrs and whisker kisses.

That's beautiful sweet Athena. Hugs to your Mum and Granny, waiting like that has to be pretty difficult.

The art is ab fab! Love the colors.
The whole thing about Uncle John sounds like terrible torture. That shouldn't be allowed to happen. What if it was a Jewish body which has to be entombed within a few days?

I am sorry that things are being drawn out for your Uncle John's burial. It is like being in a state of limbo. Hugs for your mum and granny.
The art is pretty.

I am so sorry to hear about your ongoing trials for the burial of your Mom's brother, Athena. I hope your family will find peace sooner than anticipated. This is such a terrible and inhumane situation.

Your art is very striking, especially the first one. Your coat and eye colours blend so well with the autumnal background. The second one is downright cozy. Hugs.

I love your art. That first effect is my favorite, very fall like. I am sorry that your mum's brother hasn't been laid to rest yet. Your family is in my prayers. Thank you for hosting. XO

Oh, how terrible for your family! Rather cruel, we think! Hugs from us and hope that your mom’s brother will Rest In Peace very soon.

We used the Poly effect in Painnt today too. We're sorry your Mum's family has had to go through this to get your Uncle here and in his resting place.

Hugs, purrs and paws of comfort for all of you. The Poly effect is very interesting. We like how it turned out. The autumnal colors provide such a sense of warmth. Nicely done.

It's bit hard for people to grasp too. If he had only been cremated, some of this suffering could have been avoided.

We are so sorry the arrangements for Uncle John's final rest are being drawn out like this. We, too, like CK, thought what if it had been a Jewish person who had died. They have to be buried as soon as possible - usually on the same day, or the next. Hugs to your Mum and Grandma at this sad time.

Your artwork is beautiful. Autumn doesn't seem to be anywhere in sight, but at least the art lets us think about it.

We were given the option of cremation but Greek Orthodox doesn't allow it. Even though John won't be having an Orthodox funeral Granny would rather she bury her son.

Thank you for your comments.

We've tried to comment on your blogs but some comments aren't getting through.

First, I am so glad to be here again. Mommy doesn't get notice that you've posted, and she has been so occupied with illness in the family.

I am truly sad and very sorry that things are going that way with your brother, Marie. I want it to be over for you and the family and will include that hope in my prayers. XXX Hugs always.
