My Fave Photo Of The Week

Here I am nibbling on Mum's ear. It looks as if I'm whispering to her, doesn't it? She's always at her desk staring at her computer screen and I like to sleep on the bed, but it gets tiring looking at her back all the time. I don't understand what it is that she finds so interesting in staring at that screen. She taps away a lot on the keys too. I know it's her job, but I prefer her to play with me. It gets kind of lonely being an only kitty, though I do of course love all the attention.

Must be the weather or the clocks going back because I feel very sleepy right now. As always, Mum is ready with the camera.

Some Video Clips of Me

Some recent video clips of me in the back garden. Yes, I am wearing a harness, and I tell you, I'm not happy about that because I hate it. But my mum doesn't let me go out on my own yet. She says it's early days yet and this is not a very good neighbourhood. Also, I'm still recovering from being spayed last week (that was horrible). But I don't blame my mummy for letting the vet do that to me. It had to be done. I know she feels a bit guilty about it, but that's my mummy. She's just so sensitive and caring.

Hi!

Hi, this is my first post. Mummy said I should have my own blog so here I am. My name, as you of course know, is Athena. It was my mummy's idea. She says it's because she has always loved that name and she wished she had been called that instead of Marie. She dreamed of giving it to her daughter one day, but as she hasn't got a human daughter, she gave me that name instead, I am of course her daughter too, just a feline one. I know she prefers cats to humans, anyway.

The idea of cat goddess is of course Mum's. She always calls me her little goddess, and let's face it, that's how she treats me, and I love it. I wouldn't have it any other way.

Here's me with Mummy back in July when I was a baby. It was taken during my first week with her. Look how happy she is. I love her so much. She had been having a hard time lately, so I'm so glad I have made her smile properly. A real smile reaches the eyes, and as you can she, she is smiling with hers and not just with her lips.
