Happy Caturday!
Mum tells me it's Hot Tea Month, which doesn't mean much to us cats, I know. So Mum, who loves tea, has offered to share a snap of her drinking tea with myself in the background trying to nap. Humans love their tea, don't they? And the British like Mum even so. But Mum is trying to cut down on caffeine and only has one cup or mug a day of normal tea (always English Breakfast Tea for Mum). The rest of the day she drinks herbal (different varieties so it doesn't get boring, and a couple to soothe her nerves and help her sleep). I keep telling her to drink more water but will she listen? I love my water and I love my mug, as you can see in my photo below this one of Mum.

ReplyDeleteMy human actually doesn't like tea at all! And she only likes coffee when it's a mocha or has some other heavy flavoring in it, so she doesn't have it often because of all the calories. In the mornings she drinks a calorie free energy drink to get her going.
ReplyDeleteI can't drink tea. As a child it made me nauseous and I have tried a few times since but it's still the same. I do drink coffee though, and lots of water. That's a nice photo of you and your mum.
ReplyDeleteWell in the United States it's COFFEE in the mornings. Until lunch time then Mommy switches to Ice -Tea in the summer/water and in the winter Hot Herbal Tea

I'm a heavy water drinker and I love coffee. But once in a while a nice Earl Grey hits the spot. Darling picture of you two.
ReplyDeleteCannot drink coffee; the caffeine makes me too edgy! But a couple, three cups of quality green tea a day is purrfect for me, Athena! One of my 2019 New Years Goals is to drink more water each and every day!

OUR Mummy also drinks tea, because She comes from England. But furrst thing in the meowning, She MUST have coffee.

Great pieces of artwork, Athena and Mary and very wise too ;) I drink only water, but Granny drinks lots of yogi tea. She likes them all, she doesn't drink other kinds, but she likes coffee too...not as much as coffee, though :D Pawkisses for a wonderful day🐾😽💞
