HAPPY CATURDAY!
Once again we are using BeFunky for Caturday Art this week. We went for the winter filter and added a grunge frame.
We do hope all of our friends affected by the heavy snow this past week are keeping safe and well. We hope all furries and other animals are warm and out of any danger too. As for us, we have had no snow at all. It's not even cold in London. Mum says it's very strange how mild our winters have become. I on the other paw am too young to remember otherwise, though there is this one time back in 2013 when we had a light snowfall that lasted one day (or a few hours - can't remember which.)
Here I am not liking it one bit.
And Mum thought it would be fun to add virtual snow. I think it's only Mum that loves snow, not me! You try freezing your paws off! (I have to add that I was only out for a few seconds as I soon made a run for the door and Mum picked me up and took me inside to snuggle in the warm).

Haha, we just wanted to write that this "snowing on a cat" idea is only fun for humans. We live in Finland, and we can assure you that we don't like snow. Ok, we go out even when it's snowing - but winter can be very long here, so we'd basically stay inside a great part of the year if we don't cope.

My cats don't like snow either except Arthur who would try it out ! We too have so mild winters now in Belgium except last week where we were below O° !

We are in Portland right now, and for a while, the weather report said it might SNOW! Now, it looks like it won't, but snow is something I never get to see where I live.

DeleteWe don't like snow either, Athena, it is to... white and to cold, but we are having a storm that isn't pleasant either. Your picture looks great, it makes the snow look a little bit warmer than it is :) Pawkisses for a Happy Weekend :) <3

Cold toesies are no fun. I brought Sammy outside last year on a harness for a photo in the snow ( for a Cat Scout badge) and he couldn't get back inside quick enough either.

I love how you look all wintry and snowy, Athena! Lovely! Although it's cold, I'll admit that I quite like snow and think it's pretty. Purrs!

We hate snow and although we got 26.6 inches, a good majority of it is melted already. With climate change, the sun is stronger during the winter. Strong enough to melt snow when it’s still in the 30s.

DeleteIt has snowed here twice since we moved here but mom didn't make me go out in it. Now it is too warm to snow but it has been raining for weeks with only a day off here and there.

ReplyDeleteI've never seen or touched snow. It might be interesting to know what it is, but I think a few steps like you took would be all I'd want.
Mum enjoys walking in it when it's soft. When it hardens she gets scared!

Athena, the only way we like snow is through the window or in somebody's art creation. We also hate the cold on our paws. A lot of the snow we got over a week ago is still hanging around. Pffft!
