Artemis: Adopt a Cat #CharityTuesday

Disclosure: I received no compensation for this post. I am just sharing to help animals in need and one of the charities I support. As a rescue kitty myself I want to help other rescue pets find their forever home, so each week on Charity Tuesday I share adoptable cats from Wood Green, the Animals Charity (which is where I was rescued). Mum and I are so grateful to this amazing charity because without them we would never have found each other! Please note however that this post does contain some affiliate links. This means if you click on the Zazzle links to purchase any of the items featured, I will receive a small affiliate commission. Read full disclosure policy here.

Why do some cats take longer to find their forever home? It makes us both so sad.

Every week we feature at least one cat from Wood Green Animals Charity (the fabulous charity who rescued me), and we are quite sad to see that the beautiful cat goddess called Artemis that we featured a few months back is still seeking a forever home.

Though the folks at Wood Green take great care of their rescues, if you are a rescue cat it can't be much fun being stuck in a shelter and seeing other cats come in and quickly go to their forever families and homes. Artemis must be wondering "what's wrong with me?"

So we thought we'd share her again. Now, we know most of our readers are from abroad (mainly from the United States), but with us being a British pet blog maybe someone local to the shelter (Artemis is at the Godmanchester branch)  might see her and long to meet her.

So, here is Artemis. She also has a video too. Come on, let's help her get adopted!
Beautiful Artemis is longing for a loving forever home. Could you be the forever human she is searching for?

Artemis is the Goddess of the Hunt.... But the only thing she is currently hunting for is a loving new home to call her own! This very sociable lady loves human company and deserves a loving home. She would love a quiet home where she can be treated like the deity she is and be the sole object of worship. It's understandable that she doesn't want to share her space with any other felines (take it from me, what goddess does?). If you think your home could be the perfect shrine to this beautiful goddess check out her profile for more!

That is so sad that she doesn't have a forever home yet. Two of my cats were in the shelter for 2 years before I adopted them and I have heard of others in shelters even longer, it is heart breaking.

Artemis is beautiful! We had a ladycat at PAWS named Artemis, and she, too, was a gorgeous Tuxedo. She had to wait for a while to find her forever home, but she finally found it and is well-loved. We purr and pray that Wood Green's Artemis finds hers soon, too. Sharing!

Hugs to you, dear pals.

We hope the lovely Artemis finds her very own home soon. We are in the States, but we have some friends in Great Britain so maybe they will see her. In fact Mommy's cousin is doing a house/pet sit in England now, so we are sure she will share her if she sees her.
